I would like some authentic turquoise and sterling silver jewelry. I have many things for barter. I have books, fenten glassware, dark green depression glassware, beads, or ?????? What are you looking for? I have lived on the same place for 37 years, I just might have it. I wear a size 5 1/2 ring. I know, that is little, but a lot of the older jewelry is small in size. I also love the bracelets and necklaces. Let me know what you have and what you are looking for.

The real stuff is pretty expensive these days. In our area we have Native Americans who sell little necklaces and etc out of a box for 10 dollars or so but the real nice stuff with sterling silver is pretty much sold in high end shops. It can be very expensive. But I have a friend that does a lot of trading with the Navajo and she has a trading post/ feed store. Below is a link to her facebook page. She doesn't post the jewelry she has in her store very often but you could ask her what she has.

Yes, I know it can be expensive, but some people may be tired of their treasures and ready for something new. I appreciate the links and I will look at her websites. Never know what I may find.

Kem I would have to look but I might have something with turquoise in it. Did you want solid turqouise or would mixed stones work if I find it?

I'm sorry I only have 2 pieces that were given to me by my parents. I would check pawn shops.

Darlene, I would prefer solid turquoise, but certainly would consider other options. What would you want to trade for? You name it, I may have it. Sorry for the delay. I have been gone and busy when I returned home. Thanks for the reply.

Sorry Kem
I couldn't locate the jewelry, I have stuff upstairs from my storage and I can't find anything right now.
I will let you know if I do find it.

Hi Kem, I will check thru my box of treasures and send you some pictures. Who knows? Might be a piece or two that you like. And I love dark green depression glass! Give me a couple of days though...the garden beckons and I have out of town family arriving this afternoon.

Kathy, Thanks for the reply. I would love to look at some pictures and see if there is anything I like. I see you have cards on Etsy. I do cards to, but not for sale. It is my stress release. I am really into the Stampin Up stuff and go to classes, in fact I am going to one tomorrow night. Love it!

The green depression glass I have is smooth glass, not the sandwich glass.

I used to have a stampin Up dealer and she had the fun parties but her family was Coast Guard and they had to move so I don't get to go anymore. They were fun, I have a lot of Stampin up stamps some haven't even used. I make other kinds of cards and don't use them often.
Yes I am so glad I am a Christian ,I could not do it without God in my life. He is so awesome.
Well you take care ok Kem, have a wonderful evening.
hugs

Darlene, Are you interested in swapping something for some of your stamps? Name anything, I may have it. Like I said earlier, I have too much stuff in my house, have lived here 37 years now. Nice thing, all is clean and I can usually easily locate things.
Not a hoarder type.

I too cannot do without God, had a 4 1/2 year illness and about died. Nothing like a near death experience to make a person realize how in control God really is. Always been a good Lutheran, but this took it to a new level.

Blessings

I have a collection, but I have to say, I am wanting to keep it. I found old turquoise on EBAY several years ago. I got many bracelets, some signed by Navajo artists. Some even nickel silver. Try and see if you can get a good bid!

Cozynana, I know how you feel! I even went and looked on ebay after posting here. There is a lot of good stuff. I searched vintage turquoise jewelry. Some pricey, but not all.

I have a bunch of fake turquoise & silver jewelry that I collected back when I used to make jewelry and have a shop with my sister.
It isn't heirloom quality, but it does look nice and fashionable. I can put up pics if your interested.

I've been collecting turquoise jewelry for years. When my new life started, I put away the gold jewelry I used to wear and decided I would only wear silver. It has been 18 years and I'm still only wearing silver jewelry, mostly with turquoise. Even our wedding rings are silver. It makes gift giving so easy for my hubby!!

Paula, How smart of you to be collecting for the past 18 years. Wow, I bet you found some great bargains. I love silver and have a fair bit, but always wish I had more.
