Many of you who have been around this forum awhile may remember me talking about my mentor, my friend, my "mother like" angel Marion, she passed away on Sat. It was very peaceful in her sleep. She had daughters but would never make an effort to see or speak w/ them for many years. I always hated that & always felt weird about it. When I knew it was getting close I tried to bring it up again but to no avail. Well, after she died I found her two daughters and one actually made it to see her at a private viewing. She was so grateful and I can't explain how but I knew & felt that marion was also. Peace is so important, just as important in death as in life. I will miss her so much.

Michele-

It is always so hard to lose someone who has impacted out lives in such a huge way. I am so glad that Marion had you to be her friend and a "chosen" part of her family. You know we can't choose who is our flesh and blood, but when people choose to hold us so close to their lives it is something really special. I am so glad that you have wonderful memories of your friend and that she had someone to be close to her- especially in her later years. I hope you find the peace and comfort that you need. You will be in my thoughts.

Michelle- I'm so sorry to hear this news, you have spoken in the past about how fond you were of Marion and what a treasure she was to you. Cherish those memories and keep them close they will give you comfort. I am glad that you also gave her daughter the opportunity to say goodbye, we never know what is in another's heart.
You were a good friend and Marion was lucky to have you as well.
You will both be in my prayers.

with a happy heart

Michelle,

I'm certain that Marion loved you and cherished your friendship. You did the right thing. It is so important to be at peace. Marion is looking down at you from heaven and watching over you. You were lucky to have each other.

Michele...you don't have to try and explain "how" you knew that Marion was there for her viewing...I know exactly what you mean...she WAS there.
I lost a great friend, mentor and mother figure too, it was on my birthday, about six months ago. Grandma Lula, my husbands grandma died...and on my birthday, one year after her death, I gave birth to our baby..Emmeline Lula..I KNOW she was there, in the birthing room with me..her spirit was so strong and she "told" me that if I was going to name this baby after her, she wanted her to be Emmeline and not Isabelle!! There is no earthly explaination for these spiritual matters...

My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow.

Michelle, I too lost a dear friend recently. We had gone to Farm Fair and she wanted to spend the night with all the other farmgirls, even tho she wasn't well. She had a grand time and passed 10 days later. I shall always treasure the wisdom she passed onto me. Her daughter said I was the sister she never had. So remember and treasure Marion and she will whisper to you from the clouds.

Life may not be the party we hoped for...but while we are here we might as well dance!!
