We don't get Mulberries down here in Florida, but we had a tree in my backyard growing up. My Mom used them like blackberries and made jams, cobblers, and pies. They also work well combined with other berries to get a delicious blend for canning or baking. You are going to love getting free big, fat, juicy berries!!
mulberry wine? or cordial? i think i pass a tree on my way to work, but not really sure. i know i have seen a lady picking the berries. the mulberry syrup sounds good.
Some dreams are worth the risk it takes to make them real.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footsteps on the moon.
Just bought some on a country drive! Am going to try mulberry jam for the first time - fun experiment if nothing else!! UPDATE: The jam turned out AMAZING - Just used the Blue Ball recipe and it is a new family favorite!!
