This is our neighbor's dog, "Little". He was afraid of the thunder and the rain caught him by surprise. He was drenched, so I brought him a blanket on our front porch patio chair. He always walks with me when I go out in the back acreage of forest. "Little" thinks he is as big as a Lab! What a sweet natured dog. I have fun with him and because his family are at work all the time he saunters over for company and luv-luvs.

Here are my 2 farm dogs.

The first is Jewel. She is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. Although she's a Livestock Guardian Dog and is imprinted and bonded to the goats and even the chickens, we do socialize with her a bit. During her imprinting time, we only fed her and did not do any playing or talking to her. We had lost many animals to coyote attacks. Having her on the farm has stopped all predator activity, even raccoons.

The second is Kaylin. She is an Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix. You can't see it in this picture, but she has one brown eye and one blue eye. Very cool. She helps 'round up' the chickens when they stray too far away. She's a good 'snaker' and possum catcher, too.

Thanks Lisa both of them have passed. They were both hybrid wolves and the most protective animals I've ever known. Adhay put her head on my lap and died after struggling with having a litter of pups. The ex left her out and a stray dog got to her and she got pregnant. I miss them so much just like a family member passing.
Yeah you aren't to far from me.

May peace be with ya

This is Pete and Pat, I have had them since they were a week old, they will be two this June. They are the first peacocks I have ever had, it has been a learning experience. They are very enjoyable, Pete is really starting to show off for the girls, weather it be Pat, the hens or me, he likes showing off. Hugs Karla

Wow. Such great pictures of animal kids. Grace I love the pic of your paint in the fence. I can't believe the cow photo bombed you. How did you get the horse out of the fence? Too cute.

I'm also in love with all the critter pics. Here's one of our Opie, who recently passed away. The smartest cat that ever lived.
