Sarah,
I got your package and the snow man is adorable!!! I'm sorry I've been absent on the boards, life has definitely been busy to say the least. I'm teaching full time, taking 4 college classes at night and still working 15-20 hours at the store. To top things off, I got the cold a few of my kiddos had! Your package will go into the mail on Friday as I have the afternoon off! So sorry again for the delay. (I'm even sitting in class typing this on my iPad lol, shhhh don't tell the professor!) |

Hi Betty, no worries! I understand completely! I am sorry to hear that you have all been sick! I hope everyone is feeling better. No rush on my package at all, I just wanted to be sure you got yours, I was worried about his nose surviving the postal service! Glad to hear he made it OK and that you like it!

I just received the coolest reclaimed item. A dish towel holder made out of a lid and
decorated with bright, beautiful buttons. Thank you, Theresa for this clever piece.

Posting to show off this sweet owl apron and snowman ornament. I love it Heather! So perfect! And I'm having trouble hanging onto it as everyone I show it too thinks I should give these goodies to them. haha No way. Mine!!!

Jenny sent me the most wonderful package. First I gotta say, little fairy's must have spoke with her or how else did she know what I love some much.
When I first opened the box this is what I saw

How could she ever know that I collect spiders!!! And what a beautiful one this one is! I've hung it in my kitchen.
Then she made me the most wonderful apron. I wear aprons all the time. Just perfect.... Not to mention all the other goodies that were in the box.

and yes that little heart is attached to and hiding in the pocket. You really touched my heart with these gifts.
What a wonderful surprise!!! I just love everything.

Check out the amazing reclaimed items Betty sent me... the chain is made from cute Christmas papers and the windchime is made from a hood pin from a race car, chains and jingle bells. I was about to run out and hang it on our little pine tree when I realized it isn't quite Christmas time yet! lol Thanks so much, I love it and really made me smile on a very rough day. <3.JPG) .JPG)
And you are correct, I do have cats, and a dog and everyone loves the toy you sent, so thank you from them! Izze, the cream colored cat is rubbing his face on it in this photo. Bonita swiped it from him the moment he turned his back.(Charmer, the other cat was too busy nesting in the box to be in the photo - lol)

The snowman is made from an empty Mentos gum container and the hat and scarf are made from a sock. :) The nose is the end of a bamboo kabob skewer painted orange. A KoolAid container would probably work too... Not sure how they are shaped though. I saw the idea for these on Pinterest and had to start chewing a lot of gum to make them. :)

Sarah, have you or anyone else heard from Vintage Saver? She was my swap partner.... I sent mine to her, but I don't know if she recieved it and I haven't gotten anything from her... I hope she's ok!!
