I made several batches of Mozzarella cheese today from the recipe in Milk Cow Kitchen. The taste is the best ever.

Thanks for mentioning that. I've got to get me a copy of that book!

Hi Alice,
I'm so glad you are enjoying the mozzarella recipe in Milk Cow Kitchen! I wanted to share a tip for storing the mozzarella with you. If you are storing your mozzarella in a water bath, try replacing the water with the whey from the batch. It helps the mozzarella stay firmer for longer. I've posted this tip with photos here as well: https://www.heritagejersey.org/chatroom/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=171

Please take a minute to check out heritagejersey.org! In the chatroom, we will be posting tips like this one, updates, the occasional recipe, and lots more!

Happy Cheese Making!
