I was lucky enough to spend some time earlier this month with my best friend/cousin Michele up in northwestern WI. We were up there for her middle son's wedding. This farmer, mother of the groom, had to go between the wedding ceremony and reception back to her farm, almost a hours drive away, to take care of her animals. She took off the beautiful dress she made and slipped into her farming clothes to milk, feed, and move the cows & sheep to different pens.
She's also been super busy gardening, freezing, canning, and washing wool on top of everything else! Plus she works 3 days a week at her "job" . Without a doubt she is the hardest working farmgirl I've ever met! Happy Birthday dear cousin! I hope you actually take a few minutes off today to relax & celebrate!!!!
