I would like to add a prayer request. Please pray for God's guidance for me. We are facing some difficult decisions with our farm and I need God to guide me in making the best choice. Thanks girls.

Please add me to this group. I just saw this thread and felt inspired to join. My prayer request is for everyone to be able to make the right decisions and then have the strength to see them through. This is a wonderful idea!

Adding my name to the list of participants. I would add prayers for our country fighting for peace in the Middle East, Managing the scary Ebola Crisis both here and abroad, and for all of our Farmgirls who may be struggling financially and facing uncertainty.

I'm going through the posts and making a list of the requests.
I will be driving to a Farmgirl Glampout on Friday. As I drive, enjoying the country roads, I'll be praying.
I love all y'all! God is faithful.

I would like to request a very large prayer for Friday. Our School children are full of defiance and really are lost and I would like to have prayer for the 140 students that are at the school..I know this is big but it going to take a lot of work to get these children to learn respect. There isn't much there.
Prayers for you CJ and your brothers healing.
Prayer for you Heather for your farm issues that they are taken care of for you soon.

I too have a couple prayer requests... Please pray for health issues with myself and with Aly, my youngest child. Also, please pray for uncertainties of what our family's future is going to hold. My hubby is having back issues that are getting worse (he is military, two years from retiring), we really want to move out west, and yet financially we are struggling really really bad!!! Also, please pray for God's guidance in our lives - including for our homeschool and training our children in God's way. Thanks :) Looking forward to a terrific day of prayer to a God that hears our prayers and hearts, knows us, and truly cares!

That's my FAVORITE Scripture, Connie!!!
I've got you all in my prayers, girls. Will you please add a few more?
My neighbor Karen - the one who I posted about a few months ago - is seeing some success with the cancerous tumors in her brain. Most of them have shrunken, except for one, which has not only grown but it is bleeding. Not good at all. She is a wonderful, wonderful person, girls, and a woman of amazing, deep faith. If you knew her, you'd scoop her right up into your hearts and keep her there, just like I have. Her biggest fears are that she is going to slowly lose her mind and suffer a horrible death. She accepts her suffering, but she just doesn't want it to be like that. Will you please pray for her to be healed? She has been suffering with cancer for many, many years. It started as breast cancer, metastasized to her bones and organs, and now to her brain. She has seen many successes, but they have all been brief. I just so wish I could give her a happy, healthy long rest of her life - one filled with joy and celebration and family and love. Thank you so much for your prayers on Karen's behalf. And please pray for her husband, too. You'd think all of this would take its toll on him, but even though he has low moments and tears, he is a rock and still manages to think positive, trust in the Lord, smile and let the laughter trickle up inside of him. Wonderful people. Such blessings.
Also, we lost one of our dear neighbors on Monday. He had had a stroke and had been on life support for a few days before passing. Thankfully family members were able to come in from out of town to see him. His son said he truly believes that although his dad was in a coma, he knew all his loved ones were there. Such a blessing. Sadly, he leaves behind his wife, another wonderful woman whom you'd just adore (SUCH a precious heart, SUCH a kind-hearted, thoughtful woman of faith!), who is wracked with Parkinson's, and their only son, who used to be one of my Sunday school students. His wife seems to be coping surprisingly well with this devastating, unexpected loss, but their son is crushed and beside himself with grief. He is the one going through all the motions, handling all the arrangements and affairs, while caring for his mother (God bless him) and it's quite overwhelming. He is not complaining, he is just doing what needs to be done. Further, they do not believe there is any life insurance to help with the cost of the funeral, and I can only imagine what the worry of this expense is doing to him (as if the medical expenses they have been and are facing aren't bad enough). All this weight bared on the shoulders of such a young man. We've all lost a gem in his dad, truly. He was the calming, reasonable force in our crazy neighborhood. A big teddy bear with a deep, rolling voice to match, who always cared, always had kindness and his family and neighbors on his mind. Please pray for them. Please pray that God provide for all their needs and heal the Mom and both of their hearts. Such a tough time. So sad.
Next, my husband. For a very long time now he has been very sick with excruciating headaches and other scary symptoms like memory loss, cognitive issues, dizziness, forgetfulness, irrational behavior and more. He is in the care of a neurologist and has had preliminary tests done. Although something was seen in his brain scan, the doctor is holding off on dealing with that for the moment, as he feels it is possibly something that is often seen on brain MRIs but often ends up being benign. I'm not comfortable with that, but we're going through the motions. The medicines aren't working, my husband is suffering and whatever is going on is altering him. I am going to be scheduling a second opinion with another specialist once he has the other necessary tests done. I want to have everything in hand so when the next doctor sees him there will be no more delays. Please just pray for him. Some days he is in so much pain it is as if he is going to die. It's very frightening and upsetting. I hate that he is going through this and I feel so helpless, unable to do anything for him. I trust the Lord, though. I really, really do.
Finally, please also pray for the Lord to give my son some direction as far as what he should do after graduation this year. He's young, he has options, but he has no idea what he wants to do as far as education, work, etc. Please pray the Lord lights his path and directs his feet. Please pray the Lord speaks to his heart and mind and leads him, and that my son harkens and follows. :)
Okay - sorry for the book! Thank you to everyone for coming together for this day of prayer. Good things are surely to come! Praise the Lord!
Hugs and love -
Nini

Girls...My prayer requests are numerous...I have physical needs in my life as well as my families life that we need God to move in...I am extremely concerned about our country and leaders...It appears that most in leadership have turned not only their heads...but most of all their hearts away from God..."Believing that anything goes"...and with God that is not the case...God does love the sinner...but hates the sin as we as believers in God should do...
Our country is falling apart because people have walked away from the Godly standards that have been set before us to live by...it appears that everyone just winks at sin and go on their way...I have no desire to offend anyone but this is what is coming from my heart...
Our country is facing new issues and challenges each day...life as we once knew it is filled with such uncertainty even as recent as a few weeks ago...
I do know however...that God has a very unique plan for each of His children and I believe with all my heart that God has placed us farm girls here on this Prayer forum for a very special purpose...for such a time as this...Most of us are separated by miles and miles of distance...but here on this Prayer forum we can come together as one...as believers...as neighbors would...but most of all as children of The Most High God:):):)
I pray that each of you will pray and meditate upon this scripture as you lift each and every need up before the Lord...
I feel so truly blessed that I can email any of you at anytime or post anything on the Prayer forum here and know that I have dear and loving farm girl friends who will lift my needs up to the Lord and agree with me in prayer about anything I have need of...

Hugs!
~Judy~

Amen, Judy! Amen, and AMEN! This scripture and all you have said have been weighing heavily on my heart and mind for a very, very long time. It always amazes me how we ask God to bless America when so many continue to... well... we all know. Not only should we meditate on and lovingly speak 2 Chronicles 7:14, we must even more so live it - His entire WORD, actually - so that our living witness will draw people's hearts back to Him. When our nation's hearts turn to Him, that`s when true change will begin; that's when His blessings will flow, and when we will become the great nation we are meant to be, able to do truly great things for the sake of His Glory and the whole world.
People need to know He truly loves them. He died once, for ALL... believers and non-believers alike. He came not to save the just, but the lost. He belongs to all of us. Oh, if only people would turn their hearts to Him and come to know Him, how blessed they would be, knowing how deeply loved and precious they truly are! Oh, how would they love and desire to live for Him!
Praying with all of you today, for all our needs, for our nation, and for the whole world!
Much love,
Ninibt

Father God, we are humbled by Your love for us through Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection for us. For us! We are so blessed in so many ways, and one of the greatest is being able to trust You and the promises You gave us in Your Word. We claim one of those promises now: If two or more agree in prayer, it shall be done.
We ask that you cleanse our hearts as we begin this day of prayer. Forgive us our many trespasses, sins, and iniquities. We have all fallen short of Your glory. Thank you for loving us enough to hold us accountable.
One of my greatest failings, Lord, is forgetting how powerful and willing You are to handle every small annoyance in my life and the most major of global issues. I lift these to you now.
As I read through these requests, I realized how many of us have loved ones battling health issues or we are ourselves. For each of these, I ask your perfect will be done concerning healing. Please strengthen and sustain the caregivers. Let Your presence be palpable in each sick room. Give wisdom and understanding and accuracy to doctors and nurses caring for these.
I also pray for healing in relationships. We have or know many families in distress because of infidelity or abuse or abandonment. Many are suffering financially due to job loss or carelessness. These issues also strain relationships. Please work in these situations to bring Yourself glory. Use these times to turn these to faith in Jesus.
We all know people who need Your salvation. We dare not judge someone else's commitment to You, but we do know by their fruits the condition of their hearts. Please give us Your words at the perfect time to tell others about Jesus. Put people who will do the same in the paths of those who need You. Prepare the hearts of those who need to hear. And please make me bolder to speak for You.
Our nation is in a mess. Stir our hearts to pray. Lead us in our decisions as we vote in the next few weeks for elections at all levels of government. We thank you for this privilege, and for the privilege to live in a place where we can still impact our nation through casting a ballot free and unencumbered by violence and corruption.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem as You have commanded us to do in Your Word. We pray for persecuted Christians around the world. Give them the strength to be faithful to the end.
We pray for the destruction of Your enemies on earth. Evil seems to abound. We remember that You are greater and are comforted. Thank you.
Thank you once again for the privilege to join our hearts in prayer. You are the awesome, mighty God, and we worship You. Thank you.
To God be the glory! In Jesus name I pray.
Blessings,
Carol Farmgirl 1823
