Green tomato pie and green tomato mincemeat are two of my very favorites! I have pickled green tomatoes also but didn't really care for them. I much prefer to eat them in pie!

I'm with you on the pie Denise :) This was my first time making mincemeat and pie from green tomatoes and they are both now keepers in my recipe binders :)

I made the green tomato pie tonight and it's delicious! Even my dog wanted some (I only gave him a little). What a great way to use up my green tomatoes! Cindy

All of those are great but I also make green tomato relish. You use it like pickle relish on hot dogs, in egg salad and on ham sandwiches. It uses green and red peppers, green tomatoes, onion, cider vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed and turmeric. My kids hate the smell when cooking but love it on stuff. It is very pretty in the jar with the ground veggies and if I get pressed for time I grind all in the food processor.
