I have tried everything to get my chickens to stop eating there eggs ! Any ideas ?!?!?

Throughout the years I've tried different things, too. Some work, some don't. It's best to try to get out to the coop to collect eggs before they start pecking them. If I catch the 'bad one' in the act, I cull her from the flock. But, sometimes, after one hen starts the bad habit, others follow along and then you have a bigger problem.
I've tried supplementing with oyster shell and other things, thinking maybe it's a nutritional deficiency that they're trying to deal with. But, in the long run, it just becomes a bad habit for them.

a friend years back was also having this problem, she took some eggs and blew them out and then filled with food dye, when the bad girl went to eat that egg, she got dyed (something like a dye pack used by banks for robbers), and then she could cull that hen...
