Hi Farmgirls,

Anyone else use a Whirley Pop? I am in LOVE with this thing. DD and I love to eat popcorn. We don't use microwave popcorn, it's really not good for you at all. I love to buy ol' fashioned organic popping corn. We were doing it the stove top way. I don't like hot air poppers (dry), had a glass microwave one (scary), and always went back to the stovetop in oil(messy) way. Kinda messy but good, but adds more fat.

One day, my bff showed me her Whirley Pop. It pops popcorn on the stove in three minutes tops, with only one tablespoon of oil. OH MY! I wanted one! They run about $20 and up in stores new and online. Well, don't ya know I spotted one in a thrift store for $5.00. It was a bit dented and worn but thought I could see if I liked it. Brought it home, loved it! Every single. kernel. pops. every. time. It's fast and the popcorn is light and fluffy. Yesterday I took another friend to lunch for her birthday. Afterwards, we stopped in this little church thrift store that always has the BEST stuff. I found another Whirley Pop there, brand new with the recipe book for other flavors, etc. For $3.00! I'm gving away my other one to a friend who doesn't mind the dents, lol. Anyway, keep a look out for one if you remotely like popcorn. It makes the BEST tasting popcorn. If I hadn't found one soon in the thrift store, I would have bought one online. Totally worth the $20 in my opinion. Anyone else have one?

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

I have never seen one of these gadgets but it sounds very useful and perfect if you are a popcorn enthusiast!

I'll have to look into that new gadget. My hubby loves popcorn. Light and fluffly?? He'll love it. Thanks for sharing.

I have one and love it. Had it for a couple of years, I bought new from Amazon and agree it is worth every penny I paid for it. Sometimes popcorn is my supper.
