                      | Stephanie...loved your story!!! Isn't that so true about The Coloring Book Isle?!
I don't know if you are on FB or not...but around Christmas time there was a Cartoon posted/
Mom and Daughter opening Christmas Gifts and the daughter is so excited because she got a
New Cell Phone (or tablet) and Mother is so excited because she got a New Coloring Book!!

Bonnie...Barnes and Noble has a HUGE selection of Coloring Books, pencils, pens etc. And if
anyone likes Mary Engelbreit Art Work...Barnes and Noble carries her coloring book too but
they have it back in the Kids Coloring Books. Why? I'm not sure. But I just bought one of those. Michaels also carries a huge variety. Just FIYI. And Amazon too!

Cj...I have a friend from my Bible Study Group in the Hospital this weekend...she is having
Emergency Surgery...so, I thought I would take her up a coloring book and pencils today. She is
so bored just laying in the Hospital doing nothing.

So, keep in mind girls...Coloring Books make great gifts too. Everyone in my family last year
got coloring books and pencils from me for their birthdays (except the guys...they would have had
to turn in their man-cards if I had bought them coloring books I'm sure. LOL). Also, at Christmas
I got the women more coloring Books!

I got my 84 year old mother into coloring too. She colors every night! Just loves the therapeutics
of coloring. We exchange photos of what we've colored...much like we do on here. And her and I do
not like coloring the same types of things...which I find very interesting. I don't like repetitive
designs nor doing Mandela's and she really loves both of those. So, it is fun to see what we each
 do.

OK...off to get ready for Church. More Later Girls!

 Hugs and Smiles,
 Peggy

                      | Here is the Prismacolor pencil sharpener. Thought I'd share pics with you so you could see. I ordered it from Amazon for about $7.00
There are two holes; the one on the left is for a wider angle sharpening, the one on the right for narrower angle.

 .jpg?v 22933002)
The lower pencil is sharpened in the NARROWER angle, making it a longer taper, the upper pencil is sharpened in the WIDER angle, making it a shorter taper. They both work well. The Prismacolor pencils that I received came in the box sharpened with the WIDER angle, which I like.

                      | I just got a new Sharpener too but haven't even tried it. I almost bought the one CJ bought but for some reason went with this other one. I do love the nice sharp points on your
 pencils CJ!

                      | Hi ladies!
I thought I would just jump in on this conversation. I LOVE my coloring books!!

I have that sharpener CJ but I didn't realize that was what the two different holes are for! Thanks for sharing. I mostly use colored pencils on my books because I'm afraid anything else will bleed.

Along the same lines have any of you tried Bible journaling?

Here is a picture I got off the Internet to color:

 .jpg?v 26557186)
Here is a journal page in my Bible:

 .jpg?v 90743148)
I thought I had a pic of one of my coloring book pages but can't find it now.

                      | Sabrina...I have a friend who is an Artist and she does Bible Journaling. There is also a New Women's Bible out by Zondervan (I saw it at Barnes and Noble)
that has Bible Journaled pages already in it. Pretty Cool for those of us who
 aren't that Artistic.

 Blessings,

                      | Oh that is cool Peggy, I'll have to look that up. I'm in a facebook group that does studies with journaling, that is where the coloring sheets cam from they have sheets that are already made and do video tutorials if you want to do the art yourself!

                      | I forgot where I heard of it, but the Bodleian Library in Oxford, England has made a 2016 coloring book available online. There are medieval etchings and other pictures for coloring. Google "Bodleian Library Coloring book" to get the PDF copy.

                      | I wanted to share with you the coloring page I received from my partner Mary Duffel in our swap which was posted in the Farmgirl Swap thread. Isn't this gorgeous? I'll bet all of you farmgirls are jealous now!

 .jpg?v 37691191)
Part of the swap was to also send your partner an uncolored page and Mary sent me one that I'll be working on soon!

 THANKS MARY!

This is The Same Picture I did using Sparkle Gel Pens...she sent me the blank picture to color.
It is fun to see the contrasts in Pictures. Her's is so Beautifully Colored where mine is bright
and bold. Because I like Bling...I guess I am drawn to All Things That Sparkle! LOL

And this is another coloring page that Marilyn sent me to color. Also done in gel pens.

These were all so FUN to do!!!

                      | Beautiful pictures!!!
Vanessa I will have to look up that book, sounds right up my alley! I'm interested in medieval calligraphy and illumination but never seem to find time to work on it, maybe a coloring sheet would be fun for now.

Yall make me want to color something, seems like I am always too busy to sit down to coloring, guess I just need to designate downtime for it!

                      | Stephanie...so how did you like working with the Gel Pens? Love Your Picture and for the life of me I couldn't see your mistake.

Sabrina...Coloring is something you could incorporate with your children's
Schooling and you could do it with them. It could be an Art Project. And it
 is great Stress Relief too.

 Hugs,
 Peggy
