                      | Hi farmgirls, Just wondering if any of you are using any of the Fitbit devices. My daughter and SIL gave me a Fitbit Flex for Christmas and I find it interesting to see how many steps I get into each day and calories burned, etc. I have yet to learn ALL there is to learn about it and, of course, they don't come with a printed instruction manual. I know I can download something, but I really like printed material I can hold in my hands and read.

                      | Not me, but I have several friends with them. My son and DIL have something like it and like the step counter and calorie counter.

                      | I also have the flex and have been wearing it daily since 1/1/15. I have mine connected to My Fitness Pal so my weight and measurements get added to my fitbit goals. The challenges with friends and family can be fun and a great motivation when I'm getting lazy!

                      | I have the fitbit charge HR. I got in from a black Friday sale. I like it so far, don't have a manual but I seem to catch on to tech stuff fairly well. I use the fitbit app and love encouraging my two friends on there. Unfortunately my friends aren't nearly as active as I am. I really try for 10,000 to 15,000 steps each day. I love to track my stair flights too just for fun. I haven't lost any wieght but haven't gained any yet so with the holiday eats I figure that is pretty good.

                      | I had one and loved it. It kept me on track to make sure I got my steps in for the day. Sadly though it has come up missing. My husband brought it in the house because we were working on my woman cave he calls it and every time I nailed it would put it in sleep mode so I took it off and sat it on the step. Well he went to get a drink and brought it in the house and now we can't find it and it has been over a month. I think the dog may of ate it!

                      | Still haven't located my Fitbit Flex. I think I am just going to give up. I really do miss it, because I think it helped me to stay aware of how many steps a day I would get.

                      | If anyone uses the fit bit app I would love more friends to check on and encourage. I like seeing how others are doing in their quest for health.

                      | I just use the fit bit account from my laptop too. I love my "dumb" phone and love it only costs me $16 a month for it so I log on at home hopefully a few times a day. It is so cold here right now I am much more interested in inside exercise and with kids I find the most common outdoor walking is in my own pasture. I love tracking my stair climbs and can't wait until the weather gets a little better so I can try out the stairs at the school track bleachers.

                      | I think it is funny how I get kinda excited when my wrist starts vibrating. I am trying to get my 10,000 steps in by 5pm each day so I can get some bonus steps in at night.

                      | Ed and I just bought a knock-off activity monitor. It is from Aldi and only cost $34.99. Have to see how it works. It monitors sleep, steps, distance, and calories. Aldi has a good return policy, so if it doesn't work properly we can return it. There is an app we can sync it to for our cell phones, but I will only use it with my WiFi at home so I don't use up all my data.

                      | Hi My Farm Sisters...I just ordered a Fitbit last night. It was offered on HSN (which I never watch) but it caught my eye when I was channel surfing. So, soon I too will be excited about tracking all my steps,
sleep, exercise etc. I used some of my Christmas Money and splurged on myself because I have heard how much
it helps motivate people in their steps to better health. You can all help teach me and maybe we can do
 some future challenges together.

 To Better Health,
 Peggy
