Two more awesome cards today. A cute Shamrock card from Rebecca White, and a Happy Easter fold out card ( what a lot of work). I love them both. Question??? Mary Ellen, did you use dies to cut your card and all of the pieces? What kind of cutting machine are you using. I am trying to learn because you are all so talented.

Marilyn I did not use any dies to cut. The card is actually super simple to make. I start with a 12 x 12 sheet of paper and cut it it 51/2 inches. I get two cards out of each 12 x12 sheet of paper and the card measures 5 1/2 x 12. Then I score the card at 2" 4" 8" and 10". After that I cut 1 1/2 inches on each 12 inch side but only in the center leaving the two end flaps in tack. ( Very easy to understand if you use my card as an example. ) For the fill in pieces I use scraps and pretty much just eyeball it so it fits in the squares. All you need to make this card is adhesive, papercutter and paper. It is a super simple card but a little time consuming. I love to make these and use my scraps the possibilities are endless.
With that being said I love the cards I am getting, so much creativity! I received Portia's today! Great job, I love the sentiment inside as well as the gorgeous card. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all get together for the day and make cards! What fun we would have exchanging ideas. Maryellen

Maryellen, thank you so much for the gorgeous card. I kept playing with it! I have a die that cuts that shape but never use it! You have inspired me. That takes a lot of work to do it all by hand like you did.
