Just thinking of something that would be fun to do and I wondered if anyone would like to do a Pocket Letter Button Swap....I don't want to put it up if someone else would like to host it. But thought it would be fun. Saw something like this in a magazine.
Items needed for the swap:
1--9 pocket card holder (baseball card sheet)
Scrapbook paper cut to fit each of the 9 openings, back and front
Make each 18 pieces of paper like an ATC. (will be slightly smaller
than a traditional ATC.)
The back will be beautiful as well as the front.
In each of the front 9 pockets, you will include a unique button.
The button can be vintage or decorated, just something different
than a regular button.

Hi Marilyn, Sometimes you can find buttons ON garments in thrift stores and such that are vintage or look vintage. I find some on ebay and estate sales from time to time. Hope this helps.

Welcome in all the girls who have joined in! Hope you are having a grand time finding and sorting your buttons. I've loved buttons since I was a little girl and have the pickle jar that is full of them that belonged to my grandmother. What a treasure! That in and of itself is like a history book!! I can remember this and that frock made from a lot of the ones that are in the jar. Have a great weekend!! Smiles
