Connie, thank-you for posting your sweet card from Portia when you were swap buddies as well as the funeral arrangements for the family. This has been such a loss for our community here at MJF. It is healing to hear so many of you post your memories and tributes. She was a beloved Farmgirl here!

Prayers to Portia's family and all of you who lost a dear friend. I did not have the pleasure of knowing this lady but I feel as though I do from your sweet messages. I shall send a card to the family as well.

Oh My God I had no idea. I feel like I have gotten to know her through all of our swaps together and the card exchange. I just emailed her the other day. Prayers and strength to her and her family. I just received her latest card. God Bless you Portia and open His arms to receive all of your love and spirit.

Just read about Portia and so sad to hear of her passing. Such an
inspiring and generous person and caring too. I received many encouraging notes and cards from her and loved her exchanges. May
she rip and prayers for her husband and family.

I am so sad over Portia, When Jesus died on the cross, he said, "It is done"
So I believe with my whole heart Portia is with our angel friends and will
be with us forever until we see her in Heaven. Katie
I'm actually called Katie. Kathleen is my birth name. I wish someone could post a picture of Portia
on his thread. I love you all. Life is so short and I am blessed! Katie.

I just now saw about Portia's passing.
I have not been keeping up lately since
the stroke. My heart just sank when I
saw this. I had just put her card in the
mail for the april card swap! running
quite late with that. Hope it may bring a
smile to family knowing how much she enjoyed
the swaps.
She will be so missed.
