I have sheepskins in white and natural colored.
Rovings - always changing. Right now, I am expecting a box of moorit CVM blended with brown alpaca to arrive back from the processor at any moment. I will have some white Bluefaced Leicester, and some BFL roving in fall colors after I finish dyeing it all and get it to the processor.
Bags of dyed BFL tiny, curly locks for needle felting, etc.
Also, skeins of handspun 100% angora yarn in white, natural colors, and dyed colors.
Take a look at the sheep, too. I'll have some adult BFL ewes for sale after we wean next summer. We have a couple really nice rams for sale right now.

Hello Lisa, looked at your site, want to order some roving and yarn from you....... very nice site, I just felted a purse that I want to put some little fuzzy sheep on!! I need one of those funky needles! jo in alaska

We have dorset and dorset x's and mini-rex rabbits. Also take care of a farm of Polled Herfords (have been here 21 years). Should be moving soon as long as closing goes well. Just next door but will be our own place so can pick what we want to raise. May be contacting you sometime. Am interested in the rabbits and sheep mostly. Are the satin angoras a recognized breed? That doesn't really matter, just wondering. Can you spin thier wool? Are they a little less labor intensive (fur wise) than the french? Love your web site by the way!

Yes, Satin Angoras are a breed recognized by ARBA. I think they may be the most recent, having been accepted in 1987. I've had them for almost 3 years now. Before that, I tried a couple times, and they were just too much work for me. Recently, there has been a renewed interest in the breed, and in developing a much better, denser, easier care coat. I find they are nearly as carefree as the French, which are known as the easiest angora breed to care for and keep groomed.
They have wool that is very shiney and silky to the touch. I spin, and prefer the Satin to the other types of angora wool. If you go to my website and click on my blog, I just recently posted pictures of some red SA skeins I have been working on.
I show both breeds. There will be a HUGE angora show in Lebanon PA on Feb 3rd and 4th you might want to consider attending. There will be angora breeders from all over the east coast there, and you could see all 4 breeds of angora and get to know some breeders in your area.
As far as the Bluefaced Leicester sheep, you could see them at the Maryland Sheep & Wool festival the first weekend in May, and also the BFL will be the featured breed at the festival in Rhinebeck NY this year, so there will be several breeders with sheep there, too.
If you'd like, I can send you some samples of the angora and BFL wool.
