Your package will go out tomorrow. That is IF I can get to "Hooterville" P.O. before Sam Drucker takes off. They are only there long enough to put the mail out and then it's off to eat some doughnuts. . . oh wait, that's not the mailmail! Ha ha! We seriously are about that backwards here. Barney Fife doesn't even have a car, he's riding a stick pony!
Anyway, enough of my silliness. I'm sure there are much more important things I could be doing. It's creeping up on midnight, so you know I'm just hitting that second wind!

Darlene. . . I've also been meaning to tell you that your postscript catches my eye every time I see it.
I read "Will There Really Be a Tomorrow," a long time ago and Frances'story was so haunting. I don't know if a lot of people know her story. Obviously, her heyday was before I was even thought of and for whatever reason I picked up the paperback. It was well before, "Mommie Dearest" came out. I had no idea who she was prior to reading her book. I'm sure I still have it, in a box somewhere. Heck, I might just download it and read it again. I have probably comingled the details of these Hollywood biographies. Christina Crawford endured so much and gave a recounting of her mother's life that seemed also very tumultuous! Time has certainly created a few cobwebs in my attic  .

Thank you Doris, We have more big problems from our main hub of a post office than we do with our little PO in Loleta. Packages are late, beat up, I had one get lost for 3 months and it did finally find its way once my post master got after them.
Such is life in the PO.
That sounds like a good book.
