I have concocted a scrub for hands that I am calling "Tractor Mechanic Scrub" Rob has been using it for about a week now and he loves it. He gets off all the grime and brake dust and gear oil and brake fluid, all these dirty things that get on his hands at work as a mechanic each day. It is all natural and smells lightly of Patchouli. He has even noticed how nie it makes his nails. He still has to dig out the yuck from underneath his nails, but the scrub makes it easier, he says.
I am in process of setting up an etsy shop, and they will be $10 a jar plus shipping. I am letting you farmgirls get a crack at it for $7 plus shipping before I get it on my proverbial shelves. I have 10 jars available-already made-but have the capability for plenty more should you need it.
This is my own concoction made from olive oil, patchouli EO, sea salt, kosher salt, borax and hand milled vegetable based soap. It comes in a reuseable jar.
I also have a version more suited for delicate skin and it comes scented with grapefruit and bergamot or grapefruit and mint.
I also have on hand a heavy duty laundry soap made from the same hand milled soap as well as other natural ingredients and is patchouli scented (I have other scents available as well; unscented, chamomile-which the wimmin in my life loved at Yule-Grapefruti and Bergamot and lavender). It comes in a handy, hand sewn, reusable sack. 1-1/2# sack for $8 ( I will sell it for $10 online).
I will have photos online on my blog probably tomorrow, but we are awaiting our new card inthe mail (we got hacked again! GRRRRRR not on the new computer though!) so that I can finish the Etsy process.

I sent you another email, Tasha, asking about a second jar of Tractor Mechanic Scrub. I have a friend who has and does everything mechanical. He's the guy who buys every new tool as soon as it comes out. It's hard to find something he doesn't have but will really find useful, and I think this will be a nice birthday surprise.
