Just wanted to share that I just finished up a new soap. I've made it with organic green tea and scented it with sweet orange essential oil. It has a nice warm citrus scent and the color and texture are wonderful. Ultra lathery with lots of nourishing oils including olive oil, organic soy oil, grape seed oil, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil. It's @3.5-4oz.
It's posted in my Etsy store and the only item I don't have listed right now is my shaving bar becuase I ran out over the holidays. I'll have that available again in the next week!!
I'm already thinking of spring and garden items. I'll be working on a goat's milk soap and a doggie shampoo bar. I've been asked about a calenduala face cream, but that will take a little time and I'll keep you posted!!
Hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday season. Happy knitting, gardening, sewing or whatever your passion might be!!!!

Well, I'll be looking forward to the doggie shampoo bar(will it be good for dry skin - one of my 'children' has a problem with that). But they are all dirty doggies by now, and will be the first thing on the spring cleaning list!

I'll be using my castile recipe for the doggie bar which is @50% olive oil. I'll keep you posted as to when it's done!!

Missy

Hey Missy-- Just wanted to let you know how much I love the soaps (especially the shaving soap!) I wondered about that, though--have you ever considered making the shaving soaps into round cakes? My husband's silver shaving container is round and deep and would hold a bigger cake (hint, hint :)) Everyone just adored the salves and the soaps, like I said. I kept a shaving soap for myself, but I'm going to have to order something else for just me and me alone!
Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet. |

Jonni- The disk in the tin is a great idea!! I have been tossing around the idea of doing some old fashioned style in a mug with the little natural bristle brush. Just need to figure out how to process the soap that way. I'm so glad you are enjoying everything as well as the people that received the gifts.
Blessings,
Missy
