Thanks girls, but our Creator is the artist! There are more opening up now, my hubby calls the color "burnt orange". When I saw the seeds I decided that these were what I wanted, rather than the big yellow ones. I wasn't really interested in harvesting the seeds out of those.
These don't grow quite as tall and I think, because the flower is smaller, don't droop over so much! Anyway, they're a nice addition to the garden . . . growing by the carrots on the side of the garden closest to the road, where folks driving by can enjoy them too. CJ

What a beautiful fall color. Love sunflowers. I was just looking at fall fabric with sunflowers. Like I need more fabric! LOL! Well I must confess, my fabric hoarding self did buy some fall fat quarters today. All leaves though.
