Today I received Darlene's squares. How cute! Loving this idea! When I put my squares upstairs with the collection, I noticed on on of the squares I cut from my fabric still had a little selvage on it. I hope nobody else's square does. If so let me know and I'll send another. On my square, it won't matter because it is well within the 1/4" seam. But I know the rules and as a newbie, I want to be sure I do things right!

I've done that on some of my own projects. If it were just a bit of selvage it did sew okay for me.

Today I received Marilyn's, Beverly's, and Linda O's fabric squares! Love them all. Our projects are going to be so cute with all the awesome squares we have! All of you ladies are great. Now I have to figure out what I will do with them.. Looking forward to the rest! Have a fabulous day.

Rebecca, I love the kitties and puppies you chose. I am going to show them to the kids at school, and teach them to draw pets. They are such sweet drawings I think the kids will enjoy trying to draw them.

Mailed my squares about an hour ago. Hope they all arrive ok. I have received mailings from Marilyn, Beverley, Rita and Darlene. They are all so cute. No duplicates yet but if it happens it will still look great.

Yesterday I received Rebecca's and Karen's fabric squares. They are fun and adorable! Karen love the extra bookmark and the stamped phrase "Flat Hugs Enclosed" You girls are so creative.

I will be sending my fabric out on Wednesday. I was sick with a stomach bug over the weekend, so the fabric never left the bag, and nothing else got done either....
I slept most of Saturday which helped a lot.
