Would anyone be interested in a meetup in the spring or summer? We could meet in a centralized Virginia place.

If you are a VA farmgirl and interested, please post and I'll start planning something. Be lots of fun, we could do a white elephant trade for fun or embelish an apron to send to MJ, or gosh, the possibilities are limited only to our own imaginations!!

Georgann, I'm a halfway Virginia farmgirl since we live almost half of the year in my Norfolk home. I will definitely be home for the entire month of April... Nance

I know where Farmville is. I went almost that far when I was doing Home Heath Nursing. That is such a beautiful part of Virginia. Well that is three and four including Rosemary. So far it looks like Richmond is about the middle of those wanting to meetup. We'll change the epicenter as more VA Farmgirls signup!

Hey Farmgirls!

I'm going to put in a plug for my Mom and Dad's B&B! They have a super cute place in Lovingston Virginia! You can see their website at www.orchardhousebb.com. They would love to host some farmgirls if you wanted a night or weekend away. I've been trying to get my mom to log in here cause she would really fit in. Anyway just thought you might at least enjoy looking at their website!

Depending on when you have it, I might be able to make it! We're moving back to Va. Beach in May or June...not sure yet. So, would you keep me posted???

Oh, and Nance...so glad to know there will be another farm girl so close by in Norfolk.

Hey gal pal Eren! Yep, sure do know where the Dam Neck base is. When I worked for the bank, one of our commercial building customers had (still does presumably) a polo pony farm out that ways and when I found THAT out I sent him a little note beginning with "Spring has sprung; how about some dung?" He was so cracked up by that note that he called my department head and told him what an amusing employee he had, and that I was to come out whenever I wanted and he would have somebody HELP me shovel the stuff! As my equestrian farm gal pals know, that stuff is heavy. When I arrived back home with my haul I called my sons out to help me lug my treasure to the back yard. My oldest was about 10 then, very droll, and as he huffed and puffed and dragged one of the bags, he quipped "couldn't get poop from a parakeet, could you?!!"

Hey I went to "A" school for the Navy at Dam Neck. Wish I known you were all in the area then. Anywho- I got a good laugh this morning..I looked quickly at the title of this thread and thought it said "Virgin Farmgirl Meetup" I thought "now that is bold".
