                      | That is just so cool, Sherrie! Awesome! My Grandpa played all of those instruments, as well as piano - all self-taught by ear! Amazing guy! But such a wonderful gift to be able to learn from you no matter where people live! Skype is such an amazing thing! You are, too! Maybe I'll see if my Mom will part with Grandpa's mandolin. I doubt she will, but I will try. If so, I'll email you, because I would love to learn how to play. Only thing is, you may have to be patient with me. To this day, the sound of a mandolin brings tears to my eyes! :) Hugs - Nini

                      | Nini,I'm teaching old time mandolin this year,so that would be perfect for you. Nice, easy peasy old time songs. Tell your mom that letting grandpa's mandolin gathering dust and wasting away isn't what he would want. You will need to take it to a music store for a restringing and a looking over to be sure everything is hunky dory with it before starting to play it. email me at mandolinbabes@ymail.com when you're ready!
