I bought Keen hiking boots in February and absolutely love them. The size was accurate for what I wear and they are slightly wider in the toes, something I need. They have held up beautifully so far and I average walking 5 miles a day in them. The treads are nice and mulch and mud don't get stuck in them. I ordered directly online from the company and with their free shipping got an additional 20% off. You might find someone who carries this brand near you or you can order online.
Good luck finding the right pair for you! Dawn in IL

I also love Keen for the wider toe box, I've had a few pairs of them and a few other brands and these are my favorites.

I, too, am a Keen fan! I have worn out my first part of boots (worn for 9 years) and I wish they weren't worn out. I also have the sandals, my first pair I've worn since 2006 and still do for summer chores. I finally dug out my new pair to wear for town, etc. CJ
P.S. I've used Snow Seal on my boots so they are waterproof . . . lots of snow, mud and muck . . . and streams to get across in the mountains!
