I found one that I think would have worked well for us... but did not want to put an offer on it with out hubby seeing it... the house went into escrow 3 days after I got home... bummer.
There is a 2nd home...I am not 109% crazy about because it has 6 stairs up to the kitchen and 2 bedrooms and then you have to go down 6 dtairs to the family and 3rd bedroom... The living room is on the main/entry level.... DH has bad knees and I have hip issues... so I am trying to find a level Rancher style house.
I guess worse case... we don't find a house to our liking and we become Gypsies! snorks&giggles!!!

Stairs are really a problem. When my son built their house with only the master downstairs, I questioned that. But they like it and he almost never goes up to the girls rooms. He might have a heart attack if he did.ha, they are teen age rooms

Those tri--levels can be bad on people with knee and hip problems. I hope you find something soon.

Fall Aprons all finished. My wagon is dragging. I will be headed to the post office Friday morning. You should have by Monday.

Good Morning Ladies,
I hate to report that I completely dropped the ball on this swap. I own a small sheet metal manufacturing business and on the 14th I had to fire 2 of my 4 employees,since then I have been working 14 hour days just to keep up. I finally had a chance to take a breath yesterday, and realized the ship date for these is tomorrow. :( I have been so busy I completely put these in the back of my mind. I hate that I will not have these done tomorrow, as I am here again working a 14 hour day. I am not sure what to do, I don't want to leave you all hanging, but I will be working another long day Friday and Saturday, and half the day Sunday. I can get them done on Sunday afternoon, and have them ready to ship for Monday, but they will end up being really plain and late. I apologize deeply for this mistake on my part, and if you can let me know if sending them late on Monday is okay I will get them done. Again, so sorry ladies, I will not let this happen for the next swaps, I am hoping to hire more help by next week. Let me know what you think and I will proceed as guided.

I received aprons from Katie and Denise today. Katie - you did GREAT! No worries at all.
And Grace, I can tell Katie is a true farm girl. Like you, she reused a padded envelope.
