We always have a wonderful May Day...daughter #3 was born on May Day - 15 years ago...what better to celebrate? Husband made her the most beautiful pair of fairy wings for her 6th birthday. They still hang in her room. I will try to get a picture of them posted. That's where the kids get their artistic abilities ~ Dear Old Dad.

I was thinking back, about this day, I remember when I was in grade school hanging on to a ribbon and going around a May pole. Also my neighbor up the road used to hang a little May basket on my front door. At school we also crafted flowers etc and then we would weave little baskets out of paper to put them in. yep, its all comming back to me now.

Hi Everyone - so far we have 16 names - I think in all fairness we should give others a chance to sign up so lets give it a little more time. Hows about we wait till April 1st to get our partners?

As far as what to get together - what would you put in a May Day basket, what do you think of when you think of May Day - To me, it always made me think of faeries and flowers.

I am so anxious to get my partners name, the anticipation always kills me. I hope my swap ideas are on the right track. I appologize to my partner in advance if I miss the mark completely with this one, but it should be interesting regardless.
