2018 STUFF A STOCKING
I did a search on past Christmas Stocking Swaps!
Beth Jones hosted this swap back in 2011. Then, Marie aka Churunga hosted in 2016. I am sure there were others but I couldn’t find them.
So I am ‘borrowing’ their Swap ideas with a little variation for the 2018 Christmas Stocking Swap so we can get ready for some Christmas cheer!!
“Christmas is fast approaching and what is Christmas without a stocking?!! Moms sometimes get left out of the stocking deal so let's make sure every mom gets a stocking!!!!”
2018 STUFF A STOCKING SWAP
Here are the Swap Guidelines:
1) MAKE OR PURCHASE: Either make or Purchase an 18 to 24 inch long, from heel to toe, Christmas Stocking and embellish it.
2) SEVEN ITEMS: List 7 items that you collect or would like to receive in your stocking. Each Partner will need to purchase or make at least 4 of those items; and then you can include whatever extras you wish. So everyone will receive no less than 4 items in their stocking.
3) LIST OF ITEMS: When the partners are assigned, look for your partners name and the things they like or collect and choose 4 of those items to stuff their stocking.
4) WRAP ITEMS: Wrap each gift and place them in the stocking.
5) INCLUDE CARD: Please also include a Christmas Card for your partner.
6) INCLUDE RECIPE: Please include a favorite Christmas recipe for your partner.
7) EMAIL: Email your partner for their address and send away their stocking to them....

I love Christmas. Sign me up. I collect thimbles, I cross stitch and quilt so supplies for those activities, I love dishes, aprons, card making supplies, and buttons.

I love this swap! Each year, I keep my stocking and open it on Christmas morning for fun. Farmgirl Santas are the BEST!
I am very flexible on what to include. Here are a few ideas, but really anything is wonderful because I love a surprise!!
Dark chocolate
Crocheted dishcloths
Little primitive ornaments to hang on my little tree that I keep up all year long and decorate.
Pretty yarn
Anything apple!!

I started this Christmas Stocking Swap way back...but haven't done it for years as Grandkids came alone and life got busier!!
But please sign me up...I would love to do it again this year.
1. I Love Chocolate anything (candy, cookies etc)
2. I love Religious as well as Traditional (My Tree, however, is Purple and Gold decorations only)
As My Tree itself is Purple. A Purple Stocking would be Awesomeness!
3. I Love vintage Children's Christmas Books
4. I have a Scottish Terrier (so anything Scottie)
5. I Love Angels (especially vintage) but love them all
6. I Love Flavored Coffee's and Teas
7. I collect Vintage Christmas Pins too.
I am easy to please as long as you follow my Color Pallet! LOL I'm Passionate about Purple!

Thank you Debbie for hosting this swap. Time just got away from me this year.
My colors for Christmas are blue, white and silver.
Ideas:
1) Nice soft, warm house slippers
2) Hankies (do not have to be vintage)
3) Tea (loose or bagged, I particularly like white tea.)
4) Small sewing kits (I collect these.)
5) A dish drain quilt (I currently just use a towel.)
6) Note cards
7) A beautiful pen
I can't wait to start making the stocking. I may start today.
