Christine; Absolutely amazing. I would love to come and visit. I know I am not going to make it, but will be telling all my Canadian friends about it. MJ

How lovely, Christine! This is my favorite part: "Serenity abounds with no electricity, video games, tv, internet, or other modern distractions." That sounds just about perfect. You've made a wonderful hideaway. Next time I'm in Idaho...

Congratulations, Christine! I know you’ve been talking about doing a B&B since you started chatting on the forum. MaryJane said that you were here for Farm Fair and talked to her about starting a tent B&B like ours. I’m glad she could encourage and help you get started. Starting your own business is such an exciting adventure!!! If I get any overflow, I’ll send ‘em your way. Agritourism ROCKS!! Good luck!!!

Oh, Christine! It's just lovely. I'm sure it will be a success - I really can't think of a more fun place to stay in the area. The tents and accomodations are beautiful - congratulations on a dream come true!!!

| Thanks for all the beautiful comments. I am really excited about this venture. I love homesteading and old-fashioned living. Sharing this with others is the most ideal job I could think of. Special thanks to the people at Mary Janes Farm who answered my questions and gave me encouragement. They truly live what they preach about helping others. |

We just got back from our little summer holiday at the Huckleberry tent and brekkie. It was wonderful! It really is a quiet, peaceful, old-fashioned retreat into the wilderness. Well worth the 9.5 (scenic!) hour drive to get there. Not only was the tent gorgeous, but the camp kitchen was to die for - Christine had thought of every little detail, right down to an antique bread tin to store all the s'more goodies! I just put on my apron and felt right at home. :-) A great big thank you to Christine and Tim. Farmgirls, if you are ever traveling near N.Idaho you must stop by and stay awhile, just be warned, it's so lovely - you may not want to go back home! (We sure didn't!) http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y58/sweetproserpina/DSC01841.jpg

Oh what a lovely place.
My son and his family lived in Boise for sometime. I thought Boise was wonderful. The rest of Idaho, has got to be even better.
I am not a camper, but I would certainly consider camping at your place.
Thank you Gabrielle Rancho Cucamonga, Ca.

We have had a wonderful first year. So many interesting folks stayed with us--returned peace corp volunteers, students getting degrees in sustainable living, world travelers and just plain good-ole people who want a taste of the country. We also got our first offical write up in Idaho Farm Bureau Quarterly. If your interested, go to http://www.idahofb.org/archivej/uploads/summer_quarterly_web.pdf our article starts on page 32.
Take care and look us up if your coming to North Idaho.

| That is so gorgeous! I've bookmarked it for next year. We're sitting at 62 degrees here in southern Idaho, so camping has become an unappealing option until next summer... |

I look forward to seeing some of you next summer. The Tent and Breakfast really did turn out cute. We just received our 3rd write-up. We are in the September 2007 issue of Idaho Magazine.
Our first year has been amazing. We started with 7 guests in May and by August we had over 80 people stay with us that month. People really have a desire to reconnect with nature. I was planning to take down two of our tent by October 1st, but we are still taking reservations. Guess I better get busy and cut some more firewood to keep everyone cozy.
