This question was actually on Mikki's blog but I really like it. I hope it was ok with you Mikki for me to put this on here. Here's the question:

What would you do, if you could do anything you wanted to? Would it change your life, someone elses, or maybe even change the world?

Great question. I would like to go back to the theatre, in a director's chair to be exact. I would like to travel to China to study Tai Chi and Qi Gong with the old masters. I would like to donate huge amounts of money to find the cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Also donate money to other causes I believe in.

I would go back to the urban areas of NYC and build centers for kids to go after school that would feed them, introduce wholesome activities and tutor them to either go on for further education or for a trade. There would be mentoring for both boys and girls. I would like to introduce to these children the importance of taking care of our environment by creating urban gardens and also by travelling to other places other than a city environment. In this way I hope that this would instill in them a respect for our planet. Teach them the importance of good nutrition and how vital it is that they support responsible agricultural practices. Many times these kids are either cooped up in their apartments for safety, contributing to excessive TV watching and PC usage. As a result these kids become overweight and insensitive to violence because they are overexposed to it both in the media and in real life. The other end of the spectrum is that many of these kids are left loose in the streets coming in contact with drug dealers, career criminals, etc.

I find it funny that people I speak with here in my state think NY is comparable to Disneyland. It can be: if you have the cash. It can also be a place where many people lose their souls. I suppose every big city has these problems.

I just got through reading the Count of Monte Cristo (Alexander Dumas). He sort of gets to do what he wants to do because of his huge fortune, though he regrets trying to play God. Interesting book.

I'd start an organic farm and open it to anyone who wants to learn or just come and visit. I think, with a little basic knowledge, we could solve a lot of our health/food problems this way. I would have small cabins that people could stay at, work, live, play areas for everyone to just run and have fun. I would have animals to teach and a large swimming hole to cool off in. Living would be very simple, with just the necessities. I would love to have an older junker trunk converted to vegetable oil like MaryJane.

I also would try nursing if being "scared" of blood wasn't such an issue with me.

I love your organic farm idea. I've thought of something sort of on those lines where with all this property I have that it would be great if I could have sort of a community garden here for people who don't have an area to garden in. I'm sure with sharing a well with our neighbor and also a driveway he might have an issue with the idea but I think it would be great.

I would write a devotional for women, that would encourage us to fulfill God's call on our lives. I would organize a job placement program for inmates after their release that would help to stop the "revolving door syndrome" in our County. I started a jail ministry from our church a few years ago, but have the past 2 years taken a break. It was very emotionally draining but also very rewarding.

I would make sure everyone in the world had true love.
