Well girls, I am sorta sad.
I got up this morning all excited. I got dressed up in a neat dress and got all of the children dressed in their best outfits. Put on my freshly ironed apron and put Lainey's on her too. We were going to go to the Belk store in town to see Mary Jane!
I ran out to the car to move it closer to the house as it is raining outside and I did not want everyone to get wet. When I looked back to go in reverse, I felt a little sick. No car seats in the car!!!!!

I have been having headaches for the last two months and I went last night to have an MRI. My husband met me and the children after he got off work and we switched the car seats into his truck. He left this morning with the car seats in his truck. He works 40 miles away so he can't bring them back here.
Oh well, I am a disapointed. Maybe another time.
Thanks for listening.
Lindy

Oh, Lindy, what a bummer! I know how you feel, I wasn't able to mmet MJ when she came to the Chicago suburbs. I had something come up a week before, so I wasn't nearly as close to seeing her as you were! Is there anyone who can loan you car seats or take you and the kids? Or babysit?

Blessed Be!

I wish Kim. We live way out in the country now though and I don't know my far and few in between neighbors well enough yet.
Thanks for your thoughts.

What a bummer! I hate when stuff like that happens. I just returned from NC, had a wonderful time. Nothing much was open on Sunday so we found a mall and went into Belk's. They were sold out of all the Mary Jane bedding. I loved the pictures at the top of the displays but really wanted to see the bedding.

So sorry your day started off so crazy.

lINDY,
So sorry to hear this. It must have been such a sinking feeling to turn around and see the car seats gone, and after all the planning. I would feel pretty bad too.

Lindy! I know you're disappointed. But, put that apron on, get out your favorite MaryJane magazine or book and make yourself a cup of hot tea. Your Farmgirl sisters feel your pain!

Oh no Lindy, what a shame, maybe you just weren't meant to be on the road today? Let us know how your MRI comes out, maybe your headaches are just allergy related, I've been getting those since things are budding and leafing out? Good luck! Hugs!!

Oh, how awlful for you. I know you must be very disappointed.
But, sometimes things like that happens.
Do let us know about the mri
I am sorry you are having those headaches. I have had my share.

By the way, it could be high blood pressure.
Do have yours checked.
I kept having really horrible , burning headaches.
My blood pressure has a tendcy to go up and down.and sometimes they couldn't even find it.
So,maybe you need to check in to that too if your are having really bad , burning headaches.
Hugs,,love and payers that your Mri came back ok. Pinkroses.

You all are so mighty sweet!
I am lucky to know all of you.
Hopefully the Dr. will call with those results. The BP is normal. I was rear ended last year about this time. I was told by the chiropractor that my neck was out and that caused the headaches. Recently though, they have gotten really bad so I insisted on a MRI just to be sure
Love to all.

I hate that you have been having headaches and I hope your MRI comes out fine. I am sorry about the bad day you have had too.

I had a bad day yesterday and locked myself out of the house (travel trailer) and hubby was 45 miles away at work with the only other set. No Keys to the house meant no keys to the car either. I had been working out in the yard in old clothes and I had no make up on and I just washed my hair and didnt do anything with it but comb it back so I looked pretty bad. Well all I could do was walk to my parents home who happen to live nearby and were home thank goodness. Then they had to drive me to my husbands work to get his set of keys and bring me back home. I couldnt even take them to dinner for their trouble because .........I had no money until we were back to the farm.

Now when I go out the door I have my keys in my pocket. I am not taking chances.
