Thank you ladies! I have nothing new to share. Still working on the deer. I have almost all the parts completed and hope to sew it all together soon.

Pretty colors Marie!

Marie - I think you crochet like Grace sews when she's home. I don't know how you two get so much done!

Krista - I'm amazed what you accomplish knowing you have little ones at home with you!!

I've been busy outside on the farm so I don't have anything new to share either.

Today my Singer bit me. It was really my fault, my finger got too close. It didn't bleed much. I'm sewing 5 buckets for grand nieces and nephews, and the linings need to be quilted, so I'm machine quilting them.

I love everyone's projects. I'm quilting as I binge watch my Futurama DVDs.

Ouchie Vanessa! When I was little I somehow managed to sew my finger with Mom's treadles machine. I remember her holding me over the kitchen sink until it stopped bleeding. I'm glad yours didn't bleed much.

Ohhh Ouch! I hope it feels better soon! I've run a needle through my fingernail before. That was not a good day in my life, I gotta tell you. May the future bring you many days sewing without injury.

Krista, those are darling!
Thank you for the get well wishes. After all these years, a sudden lapse in attention caused the injury. It only hurts when I type.

My middle boy has found a huge likeness for the deer and I find him taking it off my dresser to hold it. He was upset when I said he can’t have it. So I am making a tiny little baby yoda for him to see how he likes that instead. If not I will make him a deer. I already started the yoda and hope to have it finished soon.

Ouch Vanessa! Happens to a lot of us. Hope it heals quickly.
Krista that deer is adorable! Your friends are going to love the set!
I've been working on an afghan. I had a hard time changing from one color to another. There are some squares for the corners and did a lot of tearing out. Working on the long edge strips now.
Being the crazy person I am I bought a book called zoomigurumi. Has so many cute animals to crochet. I don't even know how much time I spent at JoAnn's looking for the right colors of yarn for the hedgehog. Beige, light brown & cream. Try finding those three that go together during a yarn sale! I gave up and left without it. I will be making the turtle instead!

Amigurumi is so satisfying. I use small bits of yarn that would normally go to waste. I just put may hand it the bag and use whatever I grab. The mix can be cute and absurd.

Very sweet baby deer and Yoda! Absolutely darling and the lucky baby who gets them will love them. Great job Krista!

Thank you all! He was a fun little fella to make! I had initially made the yoda for my middle child in exchange for his new found attention to the deer. Turns out he don’t care for the yoda, so I will be making another deer lol! Oh well. It will be worth it to see how happy he is!
