Kathy, those are very cute! I bet you will enjoy them.

I finished a small unicorn and got it mailed away this week.

Krista -- as usual, your corcheting is amazing. I never learned that particular needle art and am in awe of your creations.

Actually I'm taking a day off from sewing today A professional seamstress friend and I are touring Rebs Fab Stash (www.rebsfabstash.com) today. I have had sew much fun making my Main Street Bench Pillow and learned so much in the process too. I just may have to buy another pattern/kit today -- perhaps a Fall one or Halloween like Kathy. These are just too, too much fun. DH is threatening to cancel my credit cards before we head out the door LOL.

Hey Jean,
Guess what all of my "Boo-levard Bench Pillow Kit" supplies have arrived and I am itching to start but I still have a couple of swaps to finish then I can start stitching on my pillow. Golly, they were quick to get my orders here. Etsy is usually pretty fast.
I had a visitor today, my great-grandson. Noah is 6 and will go into 1st grade in the Fall. We have always had this special bond and I just adore him.
I have been watching "Flosstube" on Youtube and have learned quite bit about x-stitching. I have started x-stitching again. It is a craft that I resort to when I need to "tunnel" in and get "right" with my world. Do you know what I mean?

Ooooh, Kathy. You're in for some fun. I have all the bench pillow pieces done and trimmed. Tomorrow it all gets put together and then I just have to complete the embellishment. This has been the most delightful project. Yesterday at Rebs Fab Stash I got the embroidery CD/pattern for the Game On Football bench pillow. I'll make that one for DH for when I wave goodbye to him come September and we reconnect after SuperBowl. That will give him something to remind him of me in his man cave during the winter football season. Hahahahaha.
No x-stitching for me -- the ole' eyes are just too bad. But I have scads of Aida cloth. Do you need any?
Glad you had a good time with Noah. My only grandchild, Daylan, is 21 now and in his last year of college. But I remember how fun he was at that age. Savor it m'dear. It flies by so quickly.
hugs,
jean

Everyone's projects are amazing!
As I figured the second top came together faster, even with the borders. I will get to work on the long promised denim coverlet for my son.

Krista, love the unicorn.

I'm trying to learn some micro macramé. It's coming along. Will post a pic when it is finished

This yarn is not made anymore. I had to frog a scarf I made in high school to get enough yarn.

Beautiful, Marie! It will be so warm and cozy come fall. Lovely colors; recycling your high school scarf paid off.

Vanessa, that is beautiful. The colors remind me of a blanket my grandma made me!

Marie, beautiful shawl.

Grace you have been super busy with all those wine booties and quiltlets! I love how they turned out.

I’m back to making another Yoda. A friend of mine set up a fundraiser for a little boy who was in a car accident and now missing some of his skull. I donated a baby yoda to her raffle to help raise money for him.

Love the great stuff everyone is making.

Finished my Main Street Celebration bench pillow. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Will take pix and post them later. I, too have been working on my latest quiltlet. Interesting how sometimes one thing leads to another. My quiltlet design inspired an idea for a new mini-book. So today in the cool of the morning, I made my mini book. It came out just the way I envisioned it. But dang it, wouldn't you know that my printer is being temperamental. DH says it needs new printer heads (whatever that means). So he ordered them. I will be able to email my mini to the swappers but won't be able to print out one for myself or to go with Linda's quiltlet -- boo hoo -- that is unless he works his magic by the quiltlet deadline date or buys a new printer LOL.

Basked in a balmy 106 degrees yesterday. So far today it's only 101 degrees. But as Curly from "City Slickers" said, "The day ain't over yet."

As Dianna so eloquently expressed . . . sweaty hugs,

jean
