Krista - that turned out wonderfully!!!

Jean - what a wonderful idea!

Linda - you've been busy!!!

Here's an example of the goodie bags I'm making:

Here it is stuffed

Here's the contents. An ornament, a coaster, a dishcloth, a set of colorstreet nails, and this one has tea some have hot chocolate.

Thank you again Jean for the ornaments and the trimming for the bags! I'll post another picture when I get them all finished.

Here are the 2 quilts made with farmgirl quilt block swaps from several different farmgirl swaps (the second top has 9-patch blocks and some cat blocks made in a Yahoo block group). The first quilt as shown is 72" x 84" but still needs 2 borders and will be almost king sized when done; the second with the borders is 72" x 72".

You did a great job of arranging those blocks. especially the one on the left It's not that easy to put sampler blocks together into a quilt.

The kids have loved the advent calendar so far and the new books each night! They have each had a turn moving the gingerbread man to his new pocket.

Heather, those goodie bags are adorable! You did a wonderful job.

Linda, your quilts are beautiful. You did an amazing job!

Linda, those are beautiful! I have a quilt top made from blocks I received on a swap here. Just don't have it quilted yet.

Judith - thank you. That quilt layout was a challenge. I had one extra log cabin block and it will go on the back. I like the was the 9 log cabin blocks in this top "frame" what looks like a snowflake (to me, anyway). The others I moved from place to place before final placement. LOL! I love sampler quilts - a little planned and a little scrappy. LOL! Last night was a week early for my guild meeting, so they will go to the long arm quilter next Thursday and I will get them back right before Christmas. LOL!

This was fun putting them together and it got me thinking of starting a Christmas 12" block pattern swap. We would use the pattern suggested by another farmgirl (Or several of us could choose patterns) to make a quilt for our own quilt, and at end of year we'd have 11 blocks and could make one more ourselves for a quilt. Postage is so high this would help us by not having to send blocks.

Ed keeps saying "How many Christmas quilts do you have???" Well, 6 so far and 2 going to the quilter next week. Is that enough? I'm not sure. LOL!

Thank you for the nice comments.

You ladies sure have been busy! Puts me to shame for sure. With my eye surgery on the 20th and Dh's heart surgery Jan 3 I have mostly been clearing the slate for whatever may come.

Thank you all for liking the bear. He is on his way to his new owner. The name of the bear is Urso. I added the claws otherwise the feet just looked stupid.

Well, this little elf has been busy in the workshop. Of course, with weather like this what better to do. And we've accumulated another 10 inches or so since I took this photo. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

This weekend I finished my poinsettia table topper Such fun to do completely in the hoop. And I learned a new way to do quilting too also in the hoop. I love Kimberbelle designs.

Just have some handwork to finish on the nifty hand warmer pockets with their own storage baskets that I've made for local friends. Will post those photos tomorrow.
