Sweet Joan, I received my scrap happy package today and loved every little thing you sent! I already wore the apron for dinner making and used the yo yo mug rug as well, I love it!! And, the little post it note holder frame was adorable and I Loved how you bedazzled it with charms and pretties! The jar opener pot holder was genius! Thank you so much for such a lovely package! HUGE HUGS to you!!

April, I am so happy you like everything! However, I cannot take credit for making the noteholder. I found that at a festival in a small town my daughter & I visited a few months ago. I thought it was something you might like. I do hope you enjoy everything. Hugs back to you.

Joan, what did you use on the back of that potholder to make it possible to open stubborn jars?

In looking back through this site and at my ever-burgeoning scrap basket, I'm wondering if we all might be ready for another Scrap Happy swap. After all, it's been a year since the last one. What say you? I know I have learned to make a couple of neat new items recently that lend themselves beautifully to a scrappy look. And, of course, scrap projects do not have to be from fabric. Do you have a bin of paper tidbits leftover from scrapbooking projects? Or little pieces of wood? Or ribbon? Or felt? Or dried flowers? Oh, the scraps we save . . . . . think about it and if there is enough interest, I just might be talked into putting together a Scrap Happy 2022 swap. Farmgirl hugs, jean

Marilyn, this is a picture of the rubberized drawer liner that you use to make the jar operners.
Thank you, Heather, for the kind words!
Jean, I would love to do another Scrap Happy Swap, and I promise not to take a year to do it!

Jean, I'm totally up for another scrap happy swap. I love the freedom to create WHATEVER with WHATEVER tidbits I have on hand.
Joan, I'm totally loving my mug rug, using it again this morning. Thank you! Thank you!

Jean, I thought this was a Scrap Happy swap? Or is there something different about the other one?

Oh Denise, easy mistake. Look closely at the dates. Life really got in the way for dear Joan this past year and she was just now getting her SCRAP HAPPY - SPRING items completed from last year's swap. But that just inspired me to think about another one for this year as our scrap baskets and bins never seem to go away. What do you think? Want to play? If there seems to be enough interest, I will post a new swap called SCRAP HAPPY 2022.
