I researched online how to freeze fresh produce. You try to buy the freshest you can and process it right away. Put the food on a cookie sheet and freeze the pieces first, then put into an airtight container to store in the freezer. I did Bananas, Carrots, Bell Peppers and Cantelope.

That is neat Candy! How much fresh produce did you end up freezing?

Candy, this project looks so beautiful in the containers and you are going to enjoy having fresh frozen fruits and veggies to use in your cooking! Nothing like fresh to give you the best taste outcome

Hi Candy, I never thought about freezing some of these veggies - thank you for inspiring! I do freeze berries and corn on the cob... but haven't tried anything else... I will certainly be trying this summer! Thank you!

Question: Do the bananas get mushy after they thaw? And, what do you use them for after you freeze them?
