Oh my goodness Julie thank you so much for the beautiful potholders, I love them. Oh I Wish I could so like that! Thank you for the yummy recipe, smile card and book. I can not wait to read the book, I love historical fiction. I needed cheering up today and Farmgirls sure know how to cheer me up. Thank you again so much.

April - your potholder arrived today and I LOVE it! It's so bright and cheery :) Makes me think spring thoughts even though we're going to get another rain then ice and snow storm LOL! I'm so glad you decided to join the fun. I am going to enjoy going through the magazine tonight after I finish milking. And how did you know I needed another list pad?

Ok, now to brag,,, lookie what grandmadinah sent me...
Love the Hankie,,, and the package smelled so wonderful from the hand made soap and bath bombs.
The hand knitted dish rag will come in handy.
Love the fun print pot holders and the placemats, are they hand woven!.

I received your cute little potholders yesterday. We had company and I couldn't post until today. Thank you. And thank you for the recipe. I love rhubarb. I remember eating those sour stalks right from the garden. Nowadays it makes my mouth water to think of the sourness of them!

A sweet Valentine pot holder arrived in my mailbox yesterday.

I'm laughing with you, Darlene! Many of my first attempts at crochet were just like yours! I have a rug that looks just like your pot holder only on a larger scale and it's blue and white yarn. My advise is to make sure you're counting your stitches (I didn't at first and missed the last one all the time) and if your stitches are the correct number remember to start out looser or tighter depending on what you do. I would start out with super tight stitches and then relax as I went and my stitches would get looser (bigger). Keep trying, you'll get better at it!

Grace you are so very welcome. Placemats are hand woven the dish rag was done on a knitting machine potholders were sewn and the soap and bath bombs are from a good friend who is such a great soap maker.
