Sometimes I just want something different for my lunch so today I ordered a goat cheese fig pizza with my Aldi order. As soon as it arrived I popped it into the oven. It also had red onion slices and tomatoes on the pizza and another plus was a very thin crust. I enjoyed it and will definitely order it again when it's back in stock.

Sounds good Sara! I love Aldi, and wished they delivered to me out in the boonies. I only go when I have an appraisal in Wilmington, which lately is rarely (real estate market is BAD!!) I did have one last week, so I stocked up on favorites.
I, too, LOVE a thin crust! Hate filling up on a bunch of crust.

Lisa, my groceries are delivered by Instacart and shopped by their employees. Check to see if Instacart covers your area, they are in other states. Here in Paris besides Aldi they shop/deliver for Home Depot, PetSmart, Kroger, a wine shop, CVS, and Brookshires (a Texas base grocery chain) and others I can't remember. So far I only have my groceries delivered.

You are a brave lady, Sara! I say that because I had goat cheese once and I am not a fan. I'm glad you enjoyed it though :)

Having raised goats, I gagged when I ate commercial goat cheese -- it tasted strongly of billy goat. They should keep the nannies far away from the billys to get a good mild cheese.

The goat cheese on the fig pizza was mild and tasty. I have had both kinds of goat cheese and I too do not like it when it's gamey.

Sara, that pizza combo sounds real good and a fun new change from the traditional pizza toppings.

Glad you liked it Sara. I have been making our own pizza all the time now. I mix up crusts, and par bake them. Then keep them in the freezer. This has been working great. I also have pepperroni, cheese, and pre cooked sausage in pizza size freezer bags. Makes it handy to make for us. I have pizza sauce canned up. This year I plan on canning smaller jars of sauce, to make it handy.

Michelle, your homemade pizza must be so tasty. For a lot of home canned food smaller jars are better to have on hand.
