Just starting on my badges and I have a question about this one. It said to only use fabric or fibers that are recycled. So would that mean something like if I took all my daughter’s tshirts and made her a tshirt quilt? Or if I used a bunch of my husbands button up shirts that he doesn’t use and make a dress for myself with them? Does those things count?

Or, something like making mittens out of sweaters, or using old sheets to make aprons or skirts, basically using thrifted, old, used clothing to make something else?

I think that those do count. But you can e-mail the farm, and they can tell you for certain. All of those things sound like fun! I have t-shirts to make a quilt for my son. . .just haven't had the time!

Jacque, all those projects sound fun. I look forward to seeing which one you end up making.
