Jeanette, ATC stands for artist trading Card!
It's usually 2 and 1/2 by 3 and 1/2 inches. Use any thing you like to decorate it with, buttons, glitter,die cuts,ribbon etc. according to the subject the Host decides.
If you will click on the swap forum you can see past months ATC card swaps .
I like using thin cardboard, you can use card stock or poster board .
Laurie will see this and others will add helpful insights. Very easy, fun, do what you enjoy!

Jeanette I had to ask too! Hobby Lobby has the blank ATC's in a pack of 25 if I remember right. You can make your own but being new to this I found it easier to buy them. Look at the past ATC swaps here for some ideas. Pinterest is a great place to look also. Don't stress about it and have fun!

Oh my! That was not what I was expecting. LOL. Thank-you, Darlene, Andrea (and for also asking with me) & Connie Sue! I have learned something new today! Connie Sue, I guess I will put aside the tea towel that I was embroidering for you......ATC from All Towel Co. LOL!!........just kidding. I WAS trying to figure out that acronym all by myself, though. Thank goodness for farmsisters to let me in on the "know!" Thanks, all!

Oh Jeanette, we all had to ask at one time! LOL! You can send things with your ATC if you want to. Most of us Farm sisters call them tucks; They are not required in the ATC swaps. You will see swaps posted and the host will sometimes say tucks are not required but ok if you want to add. Sometimes we add a tea bag or stickers, a bookmark. Some swaps will be specific in what is being swapped. No worries! There are no "Swap Police" on Mary Janes' Farm!! LOL!!!

Hey Jeanette, ATC (Artist Trading Cards) These are so fun to make and like Connie Sue said we all had to ask at one point. You have gotten some excellent advice. Just remember to get your partner's address. FYI- I keep a book just for MJF addresses. It will be fun and no worries. Just look at some of the old ATC swaps we usually take a picture and post it. Have fun any questions we are here to help.

Yours won't go in the mail until Tuesday due to the holiday. One of the problems with being retired and the family all moving away is I don't remember holidays anymore. We used to have big family gatherings on holidays.

So far no Canadian mail strike! Your ATC was popped in the mail on Monday. "Border Patrol" already had me remove the Canadian seed co. Sunflower seeds! OY! I am sorry that the mail is lighter than I planned it to bee (LOL)!
