Do you have a favorite Christmas movie that you have to watch every year at Christmas time? One of my all time favorites that I always make sure to watch is The Muppet's Christmas Carol. I have watched it ever since I was a child and it has been a favorite of mine since. It is a fun way to share the story with children. What do you watch and have you watched it yet this season?

We usually watch the Santa Clause movies (especially the first one) with Tim Allen but haven't gotten to it yet this year.

I love the Walton’s Christmas movie “The Homecoming” with Patricia Neal as Olivia the mama. It is so heartwarming when things were simpler. Hoping to watch this weekend.

Mine is the Black and White version of Miracle in 34th Street. A real close second is Its a Wonderful Life. I can not start my Christmas Season until I watch them.

Years past I never missed watching my favorite, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, with Burl Ives. More recently my favorite is Christmas vacation. I laugh at the movie each year.

My very favorite is "Prancer" with Sam Elliott. We also enjoy "The Christmas Box" and "A Christmas Story".
We also enjoy the "Peanuts" movies too.

I'm still a "White Christmas" fan. There's tons of great movies out there for the holidays but that one is still my all time favorite!

We always watch the Muppets as well as Norman Rockwell's Christmas Story. That one is not a long movie but I like it. Also Trapped in Paradise. I have not watched it or the Muppets yet this year.
I have seen The Christmas Story and the Christmas story 2. When Ralphie is grown. Also Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus and Polar Express as well as numerous Hallmark ones. Always enjoy White Christmas too!

I am still a die hard, "Christmas Vacation" movie fan..
And tonight, hubby and I will be watching it, but first we have to get everything assembled, coffee pot, "See's Peanut Brittle, Trader Joes brand of corn chips and salsa and some Lebkuchen cookie,,, Nothing healthy, just yummy...

Grace, we watched that for the first time yesterday! The kids told me that the first car scene part was just like me and hubby. Lol I am always about being the peaceful slower driver, while my husband is the opposite. I do find myself frequently telling him to slow down and not let the other person bug him!!

Our family favorites every single year: Jingle all the Way, Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, Santa Claus's with Tim Allen, Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell, Jack Frost (makes me cry every single time) and Violent Night. I have boys... what can I say! We just watched a new one: "Merry Christmas (joyeux noel)" which was about WW1 with the French, Germans and Scottish on front line in trenches, how they declared a truce on Christmas Eve and bonded, really touching, great movie. Merry Christmas wishes and a joyful New Year to all! xo

My Husband and I love the Christmas movies! We will have to look up that last one, April. My Guy and I are big history buffs, but we haven't seen that one. Thanks for sharing everyone!
