No Horn worms this year!!coming in fast! I've picked tons the last 2 weeks. I eat them like M&M's!
I have only 1 plant! Tired of the horn worms the last 5 years.so I planted just one with my sardines in the hole when I planted it just like the Indians showed the pilgrims witn their corn crops. I pruned this one too. Saw a video about pruning tomato plants. Made sense especially at ground level so the air can flow better.

Connie, great job on your cherry tomatoes. Will have to tell my sister about adding sardines at the time of planting. How many sardines to one tomato plant?

Thanks Sara, put a whole can in each hole and you can use canned kippers too. Right by the sardines at the Grocery store. It does make a difference ! I noticed how lush and green and so many tomatoes ! I saw it on garden blog that if it worked for the Indians in the new world it will work still today!!

Tasty looking tomatoes. When my husband was successful at fishing I put the heads and guts in the garden. Learned it from my father who was a great fisherman and gardener.
