Hi, I'm just dropping in to see what all the Hotties are doing for summer projects? Right now I'm actually doing a Bible study so no craft-type projects at the moment. But after the study is over at the end of this month, I'm gonna pick it back up again.

What are you working on?

Gardening! We have a 1 1/2 acre garden and we take the produce to a Farmer's Market every Saturday. We also sell all natural chicken there, which is very popular. I make a few little craft projects to throw in there, too.

That and various music activities are what we're doing this summer. OH! And the kids have started fencing lessons, which they love! So, yeah, we're busy!

Sounds great Kyria! Our garden has not been doing to well so far this summer but we've had quite a bit of rain the past few days which is beginning to taper off now so I'm hoping that shot of healthy water (vs. our garden hose water) will give it a boost!

Hi!
Good to hear from y'all.

Kyria.....sounds like you are busy....but what fun things to be busy with!.....gardening, farmer's marketing, etc...

Caron....The last 5 days of rain have made a mess of our small farm. There's another 5 coming. As a side note, my husband is from Orange and we were married there. Still have tons of family there that we visit often. His high school reunion is coming up......did you go to school in Orange?

Yes, I did go to school here, except elementary and half of my Jr.High years. My dad was transferred here with the paper mill (Owens-Illinois). I went to West Orange Jr. High and High School.
You'll have to let me know when ya'll come to Orange to visit, maybe we can meet up for a coke or meal or something!

Well, we're now expecting lots more rain this week so what was good for the garden now will probably be too much and finish it off.

What's your maiden name?

Okay, this is funny..... I looked at your profile this morning and it said you were 44. Then I read your recent post and graduation year. I went back to your profile and it said 46. I thought, that's funny, it was 44 this morning. Then, I put on my glasses and voila! I can see.....the 44 and 46 refer to your number of posts! I've been giggling at myself the last few minutes.

I guess that means I can be 25!

Jason's family lives in Pinehurst, too. small world!
