I am new to the Gulf Coast. I love Galveston and Kemah. I never was so close to the ocean. I love the smell of the ocean. We even get it up here in East Houston.

I love being close to the ocean, yet I can also head out to the country if I want to, OR head into a big city for shopping and a taste of city life!

I love all of the same things y'all do.

I love that almost everyday of the year I can do some sort of outdoor activity. Our weather is very hot in the summer but still can be enjoyed.

I love the history of the area and visiting museums, battle sites, etc....

I love the food!!!!!

same here!
Never thought about the fact that almost every single day of the year, except pouring rain, there is atleast ONE time a day that I can go outside! Helps my mood immensely to get the sunshine - so simple. I could never live in WA., I'd def have "SAD" (Seasonal Affective Disorder - depression)
so many things to do - hobbies and such =)

Texas is a pretty awesome state! No matter what weather, landscape, or population size you like I think somewhere can be found in Texas that fits your wants!
