We're still praying for rain, too. My chickens walk around with their wings out trying to catch a breeze.
One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

Oh, I know! I hate to see the animals suffering! The birds pant and it's particularly dangerous to drive at night around here. The deer are congregating in the ditches even more than usual to find grass, etc.
