I know that I just started a new topic of the good times of the day. But want everyone to know that we are also here for each other if there are request for prayers. There nothing like a group of farmgirl sisters sending out prayers. No matter how small or large the situation is, we are all here.

Hi FG Sisters!
My aunt that many of you had been praying for has went to be with our Lord and we will be traveling to Iowa on Tuesday for her funeral. Prayers for safe travel for everyone attending would be most appreciated!

Ladies I received a letter from our sister Connie Shelton today. If you have not yet met her, she is a sweetheart. I met her last spring. At the time, she was having problems getting around, waiting to have knee surgery. Well she did, and did well. Since than she has had the other knee done. And working in theropy for that one. Jan. 3th she had a heart attack. She went to 3 hospital before ending up in Wichita for bypass surgery. Was sent home on Jan. 9th. She asked me to ask all her farmgirl sisters to please add her to your prayer list. She has been getting better, starting back with her theropy on her knee surgery. She's looking forward to maybe we all can meet up this year sometime. If you'd like to send her a card, I know for sure she'd love it. Thank you all for being such loving and supporting sisters. I finally connected with Melody this evening. She said that she lost her sister on the 8th of January. And just hasn't been able to get on line. But she wants you all to know she'll try to get back soon. Let's keep her in our prayers, those who have lost family members knows how hard the recovery is. If you feel like sending a card that would be great. And prayers!!!

My DH and I just talked to his twin sister this evening. She is starting her second round of chemo today. She has bladder cancer and will have to take 3 sessions of 3 treatments to see if they can get it to shrink, before trying surgery. We would love to have prayers going out for her recovery. I'm back. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to let anyone know what was happening to me, but I'm now on the road to recovery.
December the 19th I had a total left knee replacement done and was 2 1/2 weeks into the recovery phase, on Jan.3rd 1 o'clock in the morning I woke up having a heart attack. We called the ambulance and off to the hospital I went. I was then transferred to St. Joe's hospital in Wichita Ks for an angioplasty, they could not put in a stent, so I was transferred to St Francis hospital for by pass surgery (single). Three hospitals in one day, I was unconscious for most of these tranferes. I was in CICU for several days then into room for afew more I was dismissed on Jan 9 to come home and now 8 weeks later I'm going to the heart doctor to get the retention stiches taken out, boy am I glad.
This is the 1st day I have been able to use the computer since December. I just haven't been in my right mind for awhile. But hopefully I'm back on tract. I could still use all the prayers you can send up for me, and know that you all are in my prayers.
