Joan~ Take care and get lots of rest. Praying you'll be up and around soon!

Debbie~ Dad decided to keep his appointment so we will go Monday morning. The headache I believe is due to a sinus infection. He was pretty good yesterday. The weather has warmed up a bit. He is having pain in his back and neck which is normal for him (arthritis of the spine) but the sinus issue has intensified it and made it worse I'm sure. Back issues are something our family has always dealt with. But I am glad he is going. The pharmacist found something he can take for the sinuses.

Going to get outside and get some fresh air today while I work to get the yard cleaned up a bit.
Clean up and decorate the front porch for Spring!
Enjoy your Saturday gals!

Denise~~

Hi Girls,
My last day in Illinois. How I wish these 2 little sweeties lived closer to me. Caylee 21 months now can say "grandma". I think that is the best word in the whole dictionary. Our plans were to go to the Chicago zoo today, but rain showers changed that. So we went to Bass Pro Shop to see the Easter bunny and participate in their egg hunt. It was fun too so was still ok. Looks like I will be driving home through snow tomorrow, they are calling for 6 to 12 inches through Wisconsin and Minnesota. Spring just doesn't want to settle in. Here the daffodils are blooming, we went to the plant nursery on Saturday to get a few things for Paige's (6) fairy garden. Of course grandma had to get a few plants to take home. Seems so odd to see all their plants out and our greenhouses are weeks from opening.

I hope everyone has a great evening!
Hugs
Julie

Julie, I am with you where the heck is spring, it is a blizzard here today with lots of snow GRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please drive safely home tomorrow and let us know when you are home safe and sound.
I will be sooooooooooooooo happy when I can plant my flowers but I still have a month left before our last freeze.
Glad you are enjoying your visit with your grandchildren I know the ones back home are missing you, your Keith too.
Darlene, glad you like my cabinet, wish I had room for more treasures in my sewing room but I am wall to wall now with a pathway:-)
Denise glad as well that your Dad is keeping his appointment and hope it helps to make him feel better.
Ruth, I am sitting here in front of a roaring fire and fleece, the snow will not stop. Glad you are enjoying your visit with daughter and Son-in-love.
Joan I hope today finds you feeling better.
I got an email from Rain this afternoon, she is still with her friends and waiting, it has been a long, hard road for all. She says hello to all.
Tammy have fun on your trip, I sure could use a trip somewhere, warm of course.
Safe Travels to you and Julie.
Thinking of all of my Chickies today, and hope all who received my surprise Easter Mail are enjoying them, the rest should have theirs by Monday.
Hugs,
Debbie

Thank You Debbie for the well wishes. Keith said there are pkgs. waiting for me at home. I am not real sure how much he is missing me, he gets to have "wife's away food" when I am gone. Pizza's, corn dogs, chicken nuggets all things I don't usually have in the house unless I am going some where and letting him be a bachelor for a few days. He had a Spam omelet this morning YUK! I need to go home and get him back on track.

Hugs

I see Buffalo is not the only one with the kooky weather, yestereay morning 70 degrees; today woke up to 34 degrees. I had to go out early and take 2 buses, when I left is was raining, then to a sleet/hail mix then to snow this all happened inside of 35 minutes! Spring may be coming soon to the Americas but Ill bet we have a beautiful summer!

Good evening,
Joan~ Hope you are back to feeling good again!
Debbie~ Dad did keep his appointment and I do believe it helped some. He has another appointment on Tuesday. He's going to the eye doctor on Monday to see what they can do about his cataract. I sure don't know why they call the elder years the golden ones because they seem anything but that. Anyway, I just hope we can get some of these things taken care of so that he can enjoy the summertime this year.

Hi y'all, this is Sherry's daughter, Markie. I came to Mom's house this morning to finally have a much needed craft day! Mom always tells me about all the fun things y'all post on here so I wanted to share what we accomplished today... She made two fancy schmancy pillows and I spent the morning working on a dream catcher made from an antique doilie. We are so excited how it all turned out and now we get to take them down to our craft booth at Vintage Soul.

Farmgirl Hugs & May all your Wishes come true.

Markiei welcome to the hen house, even for,a visit. Your dream catcher is gorgeous! Sherry, what beautiful pillows. it won't take them long to sell. What a fun day the two of you must have had.
The wind has been blowing 35-40 mph all day so have been working inside. Decided to get some baking done for Sunday and a few batches of cookies for the freezer. Hopefully tomorrow won't be quiet as bad as today so I can get some outside work done.
Debbie, I hope you are feeling better and Kent made it home.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Hugs

Markie and Sherry, Those are some really pretty pillows - they will get snatched up quickly! The Dream Catcher is very unique, love how you made it. So happy you are able to spend time with each other crafting! I love to do "stuff" with my girls too! One is a crafter and both are gardeners. So we have a great time "playing" together!
I still have some baking to do for tomorrow, so will say "Bye" for now! Hope you all have a very Happy and Blessed Easter!

Happy Easter to all my Favorite Chickies, I hope all of you have a wonderfully, fabulous day with your family.

Happy Birthday Darlene!

Our Son is home and we have so enjoyed his visit as well as his best friend, her hubby and baby, it is wonderful having a baby in the house again. We had an Easter Egg hunt with Michael which was a lot of fun.

No snow today just a bit of rain, I will take that.

Take care all, have a beautiful fun family day today and please be happy.

Hugs,
Debbie
