Julie, what kind of flooring did you put down? I know it is hard work as Dave and I laid ceramic tile in our kitchen, hall and mudroom 15 years ago, but we were "young" then! Well a lot younger than we are now!!!
Debbie, Have a great time tomorrow, and enjoy the warmth and sun! It is going to be a gorgeous weekend here. Dave is going to a Civil War "something" in Cartersville, GA tomorrow with some of his buddies. I will go thrifting and flower shopping and enjoy every minute of it :)! Going up toward Hiawassee, GA to thrift! I do not need a thing, but love to go hunting, you just never know what treasure is waiting for you, right Nancy Jo?? Maybe some Pyrex :)!
Well, I'm off to plant a couple of little things I got today!
Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Ruth

Just to let everyone know, I will be on the road again for a week starting tomorrow! Sean and I leaving for Florida for our grandsons christening which is Saturday! Unfortunately Sean could only get off a few days from work, we are driving so we will only be in FL for maybe three days, but at least I get to see my babies. I will have all three grandchildren together as my daughter Ceara here in Buffalo is the Godmother and she is flying down with her baby Nina for the big to do. I will check in when I can, remember my son has no internet so things are touch and go. Meanwhile everyone be good and wishes for warm weather are with you!

Have fun and a safe travel Sue! I just got back from Washington and visiting my grandbabies and missing seeing Peggy because of my computer errors. Sorry Peggy.
I had a great time up there but am glad to be home too.

It has been a few traumatic days here my friends. Yesterday we were racing rain so pushing as hard as we could to finish seeding wheat. I stopped at the house to grab some Gatorade and in my rush to get back out the door, I caught my toe on a box of left over flooring we hadn't moved downstairs yet. Yep I hit it just right and broke my little toe. I wouldn't let them put a boot on, it's my right foot and I wouldn't be able to drive at all. So I will hobble around for awhile and hopefully it will heal quickly. It is a lovely shade of purple today. Needless to say we didn't finish seeding with the added trip to the ER.

Today I received a call from my oldest and dearest friend. Her daughter-in-love who is only 31 passed away last night. Leaving behind 3 beautiful children ages 10,8 and 4. They found out she had cancer 4 years ago when she went for her ultra sound of their 3rd child. She has truly fought a hard fight. This is a hard one for me, as our sons have been best friends since they were 3 years old. They were best man at each other's wedding, they are godparents to each other's kids and I have always considered Erik my 3rd son. So my heart is broken for this family and it is hard to see my son hurt for his friend. So tough days ahead. I will be back when I can, but for now I need to take some time for my family, friends and myself.

Hugs
Julie

Good evening every one. My daughter finally received her tests back and it seems everything is good and probably she has kidney stones. But we still need to see the urologist on thursday. We thought her appointment was for today, but the doctor's office screwed up :(
I miss chatting with you all. I've been keeping our mama hen Debbie updated with my family situation, but I thought it would be nice to stop in and say I miss you all!

Joan, keeping your daughter in my prayers!
Debbie, That snow looks pretty, but I will keep my pretty Spring (although warm) weather. Cooler weather coming the end of the week :)!
We, with the help of our awesome neighbors cut down a huge Hemlock tree in our front yard. It sure opened up our yard. One down, one or two more to go! Then we went to Subway, grabbed a sandwich and went to Toccoa River for a picnic. What a gorgeous day it has been!
Hope you all have a blessed day!
Hugs, Ruth
I'll try to post a photo from my Ipad, not sure how to do that :(

Hi Everyone,
Oh poor Debbie, I know you feel spring will never come and with all that snow I can see why. Joan I continue to keep your daughter in my prayers. Darlene and Ruth enjoy your nice weather . We are still getting frost at night so I continue to put plants out during the day and bring them in at night. I have all the flower beds ready for planting, just need a few nice days. Keith put the tiller on my little tractor for me and has left me unsupervised to use it :) usually when he does that he comes home to either a larger garden or a whole new spot dug up. Haven't decided what I am going to do yet so the yard is still safe!
Hope everyone has a great evening!
Hugs
Julie

Hi Everyone, been kinda busy around here. Mark and I have been picking blackberries, Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday I spent the day making jelly. Here is what I did. I do not know why my pictures from the ipD are always upside down. Then today when Brittany saw all the jelly she said let's go berry picking so we did. But tomorrow I'm on the road back to Texarkana to take my Grandfather for eye surgery, will be on the road by 4:30 in the morning. And it's suppose to be raining. So long day tomorrow. Everyone enjoy your day. Hugs

Sherry, you have been busy, please drive safe today! I love berry season and I love to can, good thing my family like my goodies. I have been slowly cooking my way through my upright freezer to make room for this years garden. Looks like we need to have zucchini fudge cake and zucchini bread soon to use that up,I don't think anyone is going to complain.Just got a call that my conservation trees are ready to be picked up, so Sunday Keith will help me plant 125 little sticks. I know I got 25 scotch pine and 25 assorted fruit trees but for the life of me I can't remember what else I ordered. Oh well, I like surprises. Have a great day everyone, I am off to the field.

Hugs

Sherry and Julie I wish I were there to help both of you with your chores, fun and satisfying. Umm, I am out of jam Sherry, hee, hee!
Ruth enjoy the rain, I love the smell of rain and dancing in it as well:-)
Darlene I know you miss Spring time in the Colorado Rockies and our snowstorms.
We are to have 3 days of rain now then it will warm up, I tease a lot about our weather, but the moisture is a blessing it really is.
Have a beautiful day everyone.
Hugs,
Debbie
