Good Morning Girls,
Fall is in the air here in my Colorado Mts, the aspens are beginning to turn to their glorious colors and soon the mountainside will be ablaze in yellows, oranges and reds. Scarecrows, apples, pumpkins and the last of the garden bounty are showing up at farmstands and soon I will feel a few tender snowflakes when I am out walking the dogs to remind me that winter is not far behind this short season. Lets enjoy it for as long as we can. For this swap you will collect 3 items that remind you of fall and all the blessings it givs us. Think Pumpkin and apple butter for those fresh scones, autumn teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Scarecrows, sunflowers, apples and beautiful leaves.....anything that to you says the blessings of fall. Please include 3 items in your package, tucks if you wish, but they are not necessary.
Sign ups will end September 13th and I will post partners on September 14th, mail out by the end of the month please.
This is a very busy time for a lot of us I know but I think this will be a fun and easy swap to start our Fall Season.

Glad y'all are wanting to join the swap. The weather id beautiful here and yes as much as I hate to admit it I can smell fall in the air and the aspen leaves are changing colors, but unlike Tammy I am not ready for summer to end:-( Our seasons are just too short here, but I love summer and fall so I always enjoy them no matter how short they are.
Julie the pic is for you, is this what the combine you drive look like:-) I know yours is probably a beautiful Green John Deere, so you can see it after dark.

I am here, here! Sign e up please. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love it when the air is cooler, you have to wear a sweater and hear the wind blowing through the pines. My sweet sister Sherry knows what I am talking about.

Linda, as I said you do not have to do any tuck ins at all, just the 3 harvest items. Tuck ins are are always optional.
So happy to see so many signing up, this will be another wonderful and fun swap, we all love fall.

Wow, what a great sign up we are having. Sherry and Marlee I have my Irish wool sweater on today. 46 degrees out and we are supposed to have frost tonight. Yesterday it was 86 and I was wearing shorts in the tractor. I will cover part of my garden tonight as it is supposed to be nice next week, but will pick the last of the beans, celery and leeks today. My dehydrator will be working overtime the next few days.

1st week Oct helps! I'm excited to try and do this. Might have to be a bit simple .....but I love fall and there's so many fun things :)
Day by day gets better and stronger! Dr letting me drive for very short distances and short outings.

Life has gotten a bit busy around here lately. I would love to sign up for this swap. Looking forward to fall and all the lovely things nature has to offer during this season. Having a warm day today but it has been cool and will continue to be so as the days pass.  |

Hi Denise, happy to see you have signed up, I know all of us are real busy this time of year so we join the swaps as time and yes money permits but we always have fun.
It is overcast, cloudy, rainy, foggy and we are suppose to get snow tomorrow and Friday, and of course we are heading to Denver on Friday.GRRR! Tom is off with a friend to the forest so I thought today was the perfect day to start putting up my fall decorations.
