Today I am working on washing, stemming and blanching green beans to get put into the freezer. So far I have 1/2 bushel washed and stemmed. Half of that is already in the freezer. Just need to blanch the rest and put them in containers. Feels good to get it done.

That's great Denise!!!
Does anyone remember , or do now, sitting and fixing peas?
Did that with my grandmothers! Loved it so much. I haven't been able to buy fresh peas to shell in decades.

Might try them in container gardening next spring on the balcony ;)

Hugs,
Linda

I shucked peas a little when I was at an Aunts in New Jersey as a little girl, It was fun.

Fresh peas are the best anyway. I think we broke beans too.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done.
Philippians 4:6

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.
